I was hoping they would work on Bruticus.
    Really looking forward to Protector.

I think that is what the set will be. Yes is will break up into armor, but looking at the size of the trailer and the illustration of the "armored" Roddy... I'd put money on the the trailer also including the weapons platform similar to the G1 toy. FP would do nothing less! (stakes flag in mutha-Effin Sand... Wich)!

I hope the Bruticus limbs add-ons are compatible between the two molds who make up the limbs. So Bruticus can have both the copter/tank arms and tank/copter legs. Instead of having Bruticus with both arms being copters and both legs being tanks.

yeah, that's the only thing i don't like about the superion upgrade...i love asymmetric designs in some of my TF's and making those parts they way they did kinda takes away from that aspect...

Well, to be fair, Superion's G1 toy was the most symmetrical of the Scramble City combiners as well, in part due to the fact that all of his limbs are practically the same toy.

I hope the planned Bruticus update manages to maintain the asymmetry, though. Especially in light of the fact that the official configuration maps the components to where they were original on G1 Bruticus (Vortex = Left Arm, Blast Off = Right Arm, Swindle = Right Leg, Brawl = Left Leg).

And I really don't feel that Devastator needs anything. Of the three combiners, he's the most stable in combined mode as is. And his big grabby construction claws are perfect.

but he'll look different from the other two if he doesn't get one...

and has anyone found an asymmetric alternate transformation for superion?

Doesn't he do that already? He's mainly bright neon green and purple, plus he has working hands. He's also the only combiner who doesn't have any flying vehicles in his body, either.

But then, G1 Devy looked different from the other combiners anyways :p .

i wished one of these garage companies had plans on making a blast off and swindle figure.

If nothing else I'd love it if Hasbro themselves decided to make new E-Limbs even though the Energon Line is gone. Just make them anyway and label them as Universe 3.0.

That's a bit beyond their scope, methinks, especially with the complexities of the combiner ports on these guys.

I suppose you could graft the existing ports onto the new toys, but there's still the issue of the ratcheting joints.

i would love that...i think they could totally do it...they could even make a new set or two based on the E design style then you could swap limbs a bunch more...

I got an email this morning from FP. I've deleted the non-important stuff, was inquiring about the Protector set, got this response:

Protector won't be ready til March. We are still tuning the
design of construction and details on the trailer. We have reached to the
level 3 prototype already. (CC has 5s.)

    March? Too long :( .

Well, if that's the amount of time it takes to make the toy as excellent as City Commander, then I hope they take all the time they need instead of rushing it out the door to meet demand.

Still, I was hoping for earlier in the year...

Yeah if you think about it. E-Suprion, E-Bruticus and E-Devastator have already been released twice in different toylines. The TFclub also made one composed of a mix between Superion and Bruticus named Nexus Prime. aKa Nexus Maximus. xp

If you think about it, the AEC figures came back as repaints under the Movie line as well as the Classics/Universe 2.0 line. Whose to say they can't stop from making more Limb-bots that are compatible to the existing E-Combiners.

That's what made the Scramble City Combiners from G1 so cool.

Seriously considering getting two and that mean I would need at least one more Henkei Hotrod.

exactly...it could totally happen...they'd just have to make them...how cool would it be if a new scout class mold came out that was a space shuttle, and had the connector port and even a little hand that could attach to it? it'd be freaking fantastic...

Cool, gives me a good reason to buy that crappy Bruticus Maximus figure that is in Target.

i hope fp create original blast off and swindle figures for brute but im not holding my breath looking at the superion price tag i doubt ill be buying it if they dont p.s. id love it if hasbro made more combining scouts i doubt it would be that hard for them to do either
