With Wal-Mart exclusives, BBTS acquires them the same way collectors do. By going to the store and buying them (or ordering if they end up on their website). So that increases the price as they have to buy them at $60 and then sell them at a markup. Granted a $25+ markup...

    Randy

Edit: I like how they edited the "Only At Wal*Mart" out of the photo. :D

For that price, you might as well buy the Takara version!

So much good stuff is coming out this Fall. But this is definitely one of the item I am not passing up or sleeping on.

Oh, he looks so fun. I may pick him up if I see him. But since I don't have any other MPs I'm guessing he would be lonely.

I'll prefer this over the Takara release, just because I want my Skywarp to smirk when he's pushing other bots down stairs.

I'll pick him up if I see him on clearance. I probably will since my WMs clearance their exclusives as soon as possible.

If you've got the money and you see it, I suggest you get it. I don't want you to have buyer's regret later...and besides, if you don't want it, I'm sure that someone on these boards would be more than happy to take it off of your hands.

Good points all around. I just can't say no to this mold, so I'll probably end up getting at least one, despite my issues with it.

Exactly. Since I have the Takara SW, I'm planning to keep him MISB anyway, all the while waiting for the eventual U.S. release of Thundercracker.

I'd use site-to-store, except I don't know if they would put him in a bigger box (considering the bottom part of the package can come off rather rather easily) or if they would simply throw a shipping label right onto the back of the bio card and ship him out with no packaging. MISB would be officially kissed goodbye.

Don't use Site-to-store if you want to keep a good MISB. From past experence, It comes in a slightly bigger brown box, but they don't use bubble wrap or anything else in the brown box. Also most of the time, the figure boxes are always dented or smashed in some way.

As for the shipping label, I thing only when you ship the item directly to your house is when they put a label on the package, they never put one the figure box with site-to-store.

Not true, I have one MISB that has the Wal-Mart $25 sticker on it still.

It's a toss-up...you can wait and hope that he makes it to clearance, or you can go ahead and buy him as soon as he's available and not have to worry about missing him.

Depends on how bad you want him, I guess. I'm definitely going with the latter.

I really really hate shopping at Wal-Mart, I basically never do. I held back on MP Starscream because of that and once I heard he hit clearance I ran to Wal-Marts around me but never found him. Had to get him off Ebay. This time, regardless of my Wal-Mart hatred, I'm gonna get MP Skywarp right away. If I see him hit clearance later, I'd pick up another for possible sale/trade.
