    Scale image

I think just looking at this pic, right off the bat you can tell it's not accurate. It looks like someones attempt at getting a very cool and useful image out there. You can see in the movie the Long Haul was not close to the same size as Demolishor.

Any chance if Devastator just sits on the shelves they'll get the idea and make one that the indivisual vehicles transform into their alt mode?

Devestator in the movie was his own seperate being. His "disguise" was seperating himself into several vehicles, and to get his robot mode, he had to bring them all together. That's my theory anyway, and makes sense why the Devy toy wouldn't turn into individual robots. Would it be cool to see that...hell yeah!

There are some multiple clones in the movie. Heck Bonecrusher's model made an appearance.

The balls can come from Hightower, have you seen the cranes with a object on the one end near the hook or etc...

Anyways it was all in good fun.

I still stand by my hypothesis that based on the movie footage alone (and not Hasbro's "extended universe", the Devastator combined form is the only robot mode for the group of construction equipment. The other Constructicons we see in the movie are seperate entities that do not combine.

I'm upset that there is no robot form for Hightower, but we NEED a figure for Overload, his robot mode looks like a oversized toaster-bot. Pretty menacing, to bad the photo is not that big.

I agree, the ROTF contructicons seemed like cylons -- 7 models, many copies.

Okay, so taking the above as a pattern, I painted in Dreadwing (55 feet tall), Megatron (35 feet tall) and Optimus Prime (28 feet tall) as best I could. Those are correct heights, yes?

The Long Haul robot is just copied from Josh Nizzi's initial design concept, before it was settled that it'd be a much smaller dump truck. The robot should be smaller.

    This needs explaining why?

Just like every other attempt to decipher scale... the images in this thread are failing pretty bad. :/

There's a better shot of him here. The little notes give hints that many of the constructicons wouldn't necessarily have their bot forms shown.

    Pic fixed!

    QFT.
Long Haul's alt mode is almost as high as Scavenger's.
This is not the exact same model but it's the same size as the 773B.

I'm a HUGE stickler for scale accuracy, and according to this art, if you were to make toys of these, Rampage would be a Voyager, Mixmaster could maybe be an Ultra if not a Leader, Overhaul and Scrapper would have to be Leaders, Long Haul would be a Supreme, and Demolisher would be a big ol' Ultimate Class. Devastator could be a combiner made up of toys in these scales. That would be a butt-load of plastic and lotta money, but it would be fantastic.

Hmm, the pictures I've seen of the 773B make it look miles smaller than that 797.
