hahahaha sooo funny! but i think it's way more funny than insulting. i think it's actually pretty cool to see the bootlegger's use the logo. it's like they know tfw is THAT good and that logo must mean big bucks!
Those guys are very lazy. They can't even come up with their own logos. A 3 year old would be able to do something original in less then 3 minutes.
Looks like the makers of KOs have found a new way to get people to buy their stuff, even people that would probably normally be against KOs. Maybe it's intentional because they know some members of this site would buy it because of it.
Wow. Now all you need is an homage in Animated! But, yeah, I kinda want it for the novelty. They could have at least added in a mustache or changed the color....
What I love is not just that the TFW logo appears on the packaging, but it appears to be the basis for their new faction symbols, visible on the toys, especially "Scrapper"s roof. So it's not just the random borrowing of an image and tossing it on a packaging card; they're establishing the rise of the next major Transformers power. Autobots vs Decepticons vs Boomcons The Autobots fight for justice and freedom, the Decepticons battle to conquer, and the Boomcons sit there, point their fingers, judge and make fun. They're like the Statler and Waldorf of the TF world. They sit on the sidelines and critique they're designs, and run reviews of their transformations!
I must admit that I have seen him around a lot down here in Australia but I didn't know where he was actually from. I am only recently new here in the last few months and didn't realize that he was your mascot but if I see him on any other fake tf packages I will be sure to grab a photo and put it up here for you guys.
Original...KO...??? Of course you realize that ranks right up there with phrases such as "Friendly Fire" and "Military Intelligence" (and no, I'm not dissin' the troops with that last one. Y'all know what I mean) A genuine, bonifide, 100% authentic...counterfeit. Sorry, I haven't made it out and about today to give anyone else a ration of crap and since the opening was there I just couldn't resist. While I might find the prospect of getting a G1-esque Dev's for my kids to play with interesting (no way in hell they're touching Dads), any intentions of buying this one were shot when I saw that logo. I don't take kindly to thievery (at least not from honest, decent folks) and that is exactly what has been done here. Technically, the KO's are stealing of a sorts, but they serve their purpose. Poor children and Kitbashers need cheap TF's too. However, this site doe not need to have it's logo blatantly attached to whatever without permission and/or compensation. Track this company down. If the lawyers can't get some compensation or satisfaction out of these guys, I'll do it for the price of the air-fare. It sounds like fun and it's right up my alley.
Wow, just wow. I'd say that's pretty awesome. Apparently TFW get's honorable mention for this (even though they had nothing to do with it).
