    Publisher:
    Dark Horse Comics
    Writers: Tiziano Sclavi
    Pencils: Various
    Covers: Mike Mignola

Nightmares can't hurt you. There's no such thing as the walking dead. Monsters are all in your imagination. We tell ourselves these things to make us feel safe at night, to give us strength against the unknown.

But there are things in the dark that can hurt us. Just ask Dylan Dog.

An ex-cop who now battles against evil as a "nightmare investigator," Dylan Dog is unlike any private eye you've ever met. If creatures from beyond the unknown are after you, and if you can hire him, he just might save your life.

    * Nearly 700 pages of story!

    * Dylan Dog will take to the silver screen in the major motion picture Dead of Night, starring Brandon Routh (Superman in Superman Returns) as Dylan Dog.

    * Unavailable in English for almost a decade, one of the most popular comics in the world-selling more than a million copies every month throughout Europe-returns!

    PLANET OF BEER SC

    Publisher:
    Dark Horse Comics
    By: Brian Sendelbach

Dark Horse is proud to present . . . actually, make that giggling manically as we present one of the silliest -- yet most subversive and darkly funny -- collections of comics you'll see this year. Planet of Beer selects the best and weirdest comic strips from the popular underground weekly comic Smell of Steve in one gloriously colored, landscape-format book. Join creator Brian Sendelbach's all-misfit cast of underloved underwater superheroes, space-faring former U.S. presidents, soul-sucking alien DJs, Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and other insane characters as they work together to find the elusive and legendary Planet of Beer. Actually, that's way more of a sensible plot than you'll actually find in this book, but if you like your comics absurd, awesome, and maybe just a tiny bit disturbing and wrong, we're pretty sure you're going to love this book.

    * The Smell of Steve strip started running in The Stranger (Seattle, WA) in the mid-1990s, and eventually ran in Vice magazine, The New York Press, The Philadelphia Weekly, Baltimore City Paper, The Portland Mercury, Terminal City (Vancouver, BC), Punchline (Richmond, VA), The Weekly Alibi (Albuquerque, NM), The Bohemian (San Jose, CA), and GoGo (Denver, CO).

Meanwhile, Moricant has been dead for three days. His lonely grave overlooks the smoking ruins of the village of the Grail . . .

A desperate fight, a tearful reunion, and even a few miracles await!

WONDERMARK VOLUME 2: CLEVER TRICKS TO STAVE OFF DEATH HC

    Publisher:
    Dark Horse Comics
    By: David Malki

They're cute, they're clever and they're obsessive! Some of Harvey Comics' biggest stars were three "little" girls with large dreams, enormous hearts and king-size laughs: Little Audrey, Little Dot, and Little Lotta. Audrey was a Paramount Pictures animated cartoon movie star, who became a major comic-book headliner in 1948. Her comic-book stories were filled with ingenuity and her spunky, proto-feminist antics rivaled those of her cartoon progenitor, Little Lulu. The strangely obsessive Little Dot has become a cult figure through the years. Her love of dots and her unique coterie of eccentric uncles and aunts became the basis for some of the funniest stories in comic-book history. Last, but hardly least, is Little Lotta who defied the "big" girl stereotype with adventures showcasing an incredible strength that equaled her insatiable appetite.

The dead are still dead and the living are still finding their way through this horribly altered landscape of America. Thus, it’s a perfect time to—bring on the bad guys! Randall Flagg performs his first act of magic and begins his cross country journey in a souped-up Buick. And then, there’s the strangest addition to the cast yet...Donald Merwin Elbert, the Trashcan Man, a pyromaniac who suddenly has no one to curb his unhealthy obsession with blowing things up. All this plus Rita suggests to Larry Underwood that they should start making their way out of New York, perhaps via...the Lincoln Tunnel! And you know what that means.
