Did no one see the picture I lay before you? I even circled it. *I* didn't make this 3D render of the Fallen, the people who made the movie "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" made it. Don't ask me what is there in front of you, look at them for answers! I just put out a thought, an idea, my guess, at why there is an Anubis head on his forehead, and the fact that there actually is an Anubis on his forehead, not to be purged by some mythology we are NOT talking about. We, are talking about the FALLEN in the Michael Bay Transformers Universe! FFS.
Yeah ... and I gave my opinion too. And mine is you see a shape much like I see cartoon characters in the clouds, or someone sees the virgin marry laid out by dog poop orientation in their back yard and calls the media. Because .... that has absolutely no reference to Anubis or Nephthys other than the happenstance that the symbol has two things pointing up and so does a Jackals ears. But also so does a tuning fork and batman.
And ... why would they apply the symbol to the god of embalming? If they did that because they worshiped the fallen. Why not the god of destruction, the god of the dead, or the god of magic? Why the afterlife and preserving them for the next life? Was the fallen nice? Okay okay ill stop ... this has no point in this thread. Sorry guys.
Something to do with The Fallen's powers in the film perhaps? leading into him re-animating Megatron or something I'm just grabbing at straws here, really wish they left all this Egyptian mythology stuff out of this...I fucking hated starGA(Y)te
That is a picture of Hathor. Most know her as the eye of ra. She had two sides. One of Hathor the goddess of motherhood, and Sekhmet of the sun. And those ears are ears of a cow. So if the symbol is of Sekhmet ... god of the sun, it would make sence because as Sekhmet, she was angry at man and started killing them. This, now that I think of it, makes more sense for the fallen. The horn of the cow and the symbol of Hathor or Sekhmet.
Yeah but he had that symbol hundreds of years before Megatron needed to be re-animated. Hmmmmm Stargate was cool, and the reference to Anubis made sense because of their ability to bring things back from the dead.
Oh I am ... I just thought about his forehead symbol. It just dawned on me that it looks more like cows horns which is synonymous with Hathor and Sekhmet or the sun goddess who was angry at the humans and came to earth to kill them and drink their blood. So could this be that symbol?
Okay, sorry, I didn't realize you were also the type that would wonder "OMG why is Devastators head larger then his body?!" I just figured people would have a better sense of perspective. (in that case, Devastators head is closer to the camera than his body, thus it would seem to appear larger in the same instance as if you were to look at a car on a hill, it would appear to be the same size as an ant when we know our entire body can fit into a car) If you take Anubis, or w/e you want to call it, and flatten its face, make it look straight at a camera, snapped a picture of it, then add a bit of sticker bubble effect to the photo; that is what it would look like. I HIGHLY doubt it would be a "coincidence" or "dream in the clouds" considering where Mr. Bay is taking this film. Edit: sorry, went away for a bit and didn't realize anyone else had replied to drop it, so I will...
I gave my opinion on THE FALLEN and JETFIRE awhile back, and maybe one or 2 seemed to care lol It's nice to see after all this time folks are still discussing it. That being said I still think "The FALLEN" represents "SET" and "JETFIRE" represents "HORUS" and that they are mortal enemies.
Hmmmmmmm Why Set and Horus? Personally I think his head crest resembles: Crown with the Hathor crest which is also Sekhmet or sun god who came to earth to kill and enslave the humans. And no .... this is not argument I call it discussion.
