I've just been thinking about that ancient machine being pointed at the sun. Maybe the reason the fallen has fire surging through him is because he is revived by the power of the sun?

 

The article in Empire Magazine says simons (or what ever disposible human it is) lures Devastator to a point he can be target by a guided Cruise Missile fired from the fleet seen in the trailer some place in the sea off Egypt.

I just hope they don't also blow up the great Pyramid in the process as well as the land marks of paris.

Seriously though. The way they're setting it up makes it seem like it'll do much more than just revive the Fallen. I'm sure it has some apocalyptic capabilities.

 

I knew it! Devastator for all of its power is killed by a puny humans with who knows what. Let's get this movie done and hope they do a reboot like batman and hulk. Jetfire with the crane and beard is so pathetic... so these robots grow pubic hair too?

 

I'd have liked to have seen the solar device used to draw the energy from the sun (like in the Headmasters episodes of g1) not to revivify Cybertron (though that might be possible via a space bridge link ) but to instead focus through the device to reformat the planet earth into a new Cybertron.

But I think the Fallen can space bridgehop -or teleport - worm hole jump or some such so he might in theory be able to rediect the power of the suns' destruction into Cybertron to reignight it's core and power it up.

If it woke up Primus in the process (and didn't actually kill Earth and destroy the sun) then it would be a way to link Unicron into things in movie 3.

And ol'd it's going to destroy the Earth / Sun plot seems a bit odd for if only done it's own sake.

It's needs an ultimate goal to be worth atempting for the decepticons.

I hope the give a sensible reason in the movie.

Haven't seen it asked yet, but does Jolt make an appearance in this book?
There has been a very noticeable lack of Jolt in all the movie news, aside from his alt. mode and FAB toy.

Well, once again, Mr. Bay has lied to us, Megatron was only in flashbacks my Afterburners! Looks like he will be alive and well in number two after all! And that Megs and SS are in a slugfest, sweet!!!!

 

So much for Megs not having a big part in the movie...... 

 

From Starscream toy bio, he sort of resurrects megatron. I am wonder, since SS is keen to be a decepticon leader, why he needs to help to resurrect megatron??

And Megatron whacks him....

 

Regarding SS vs. Megs...I just hope that it's an epic battle. I don't want to see another 'Galvatron kills Screamer w/ one shot' again...that was bad.
