    Same here. As long as he's got the voice it's all good. I mean, it's not like any of the other characters, Optimus aside, resemble their original counterparts.

    I actually wouldn't mind if Soundwave stayed a satellite and didn't adopt a truck mode for earth. Being a satellite, he has the means to keep tabs on EVERYTHING going down on earth, whether it be the autobots or decepticons just up to no good. That's a damn fine strategic advantage right there, and how fitting too.
