News on the full trailer of TF:ROTF....

Note the use of 'FULL TRAILER' not 'TEASER TRAILER'

Doesn't Star Trek come like one month earlier

 

This just seems like one of those AICN stories that people should avoid at all costs. I mean, why are we getting date predictions for a third trailer if we haven't seen the first or second? This "news" seems really unorthodox and kind of predictable, and it should be treated more as rumor than fact. A big Paramount movie is going to feature a trailer for another big Paramount movie. Surprised?

 

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be true. How we're getting news of a full trailer before an teaser trailers is beyond me, but I wouldn't at all be surprised that a big trailer for the movie were to premeire before the Star Trek movie. If it is true, it'll give me a reason to actually go see the ST movie in theaters. I've never been a fan, let alone a Treky, so I really have no reason to go see it. That and there will more than likely be at least one other movie out at the time that I'd rather go see.

 

It's likely to be on Star Trek, Paramount's last big release before TF2. But, as has been pointed out, ST now has an early May release date, rather than the original December date. I'd be a lot more excited about a December trailer. Maybe we'll get a teaser with Eagle Eye, though.

 

Its only a month before TF2 comes out, might as well just wait.

 

What about Eagle eye? Willthe teaser appear infront of it or not?!

 

Maybe it will be some new trailer since that's getting pretty close to the Transformers release date. Throw in that I'll be going to see the new Trek movie anyway since it seems to be in my genes and hey why not catch a Transformers and a GI Joe trailer while I'm there.

 

Yeah, if Trek was gonna be out in December I might get excited about this. Meh.

 

A long time ago, in a land far away, memeber of AICN saw an "test screening" of Transformers SEVERAL months before it's release. He stated that Optimus Prime shanked Bonecrusher with a giant orange sword and lo and behold, it was IN the movie.

Sometimes things on the internet can be true. Plus I'm pretty sure the full trailer came out around early May last year too. By then we probably won't care too much anyway because we'll have seen a shitload of TV spots and Ads everywhere.  

On the topic of releasing with Star Trek. I too would probably be a lot more intersted if it was sooner. Maybe we're impatient but whatever. I really hope a teaser is attached to Eagle Eye.

 

The Trek movie was pushed back to the summer, I might consider watching this... its been a while since ST has done anything. But I shall keep up high hopes about the movie, but I'm also itching to see the TF's in action as well.

this just seems like pointless information, i mean thats forever away whats the point in telling us that and not the teaser.

an speaking of the teaser, everyone sayin its gonna be before eagle eye, is there truth to that or is it just coz shia is in it?

 

Pffft, May? I bet you there is gonna be a trailer way earlier than that. When I visit the theatre to see a movie, I see full trailers from movies (not talking about teaser trailers) at least 4 months before the movie releases. Oh well.

 

It's a long wait, but cool news nonetheless

 

I say this is Bay Misinformation Shenanigans! Just kidding. But I'm so excited about this news concerning a trailer that's not supposed to be released until about seven months from now, and that's coming out practically just before the movie--I think I'll click "digg it"!! This is so much cooler than hearing about a combiner or an SR-71, don't you think?
