Transformers Animated for Nintendo DS - Activision - Toys "R" Us

 

Looks pretty standard. I don't really understand why every promotional image of Animated uses the same stock pictures..

 

Well the Megatron pic is new, and the Bulkhead rocks.

Whoa, creepy voodo, I was honestly just thinking about when this game's box art would be revealed.

 

It might be preliminary box art.... So generic. And Ratchet is absent.

 

You apparently can't play as Ratchet in the game, so that's probably why.

 

yes i am getting it right away i watched the trailer at auto assembly just gone and me and my m8 dinotron was like omg but he aint got a ds so hahaha 2 him  

 

Omg! That was a surprise!

 

Anybody willing to field a guess as to why Ratchet is never playable? First the movie game, then this. It's not like he lacks weapons, in the movie he has a damn double-layered buzzsaw! And in Animated he has magnetic claws that he can use to kinda-levitate (like he did to slow his fall in Thrill of the Hunt) and move shit. So why can't we play as him? Especially in Animated, his ability to move objects could make for some interesting puzzles
