Hooray! Both my favourite 1984 bots are both getting excellent figs! Hound looks awesome, Jazz is great, too.

 

Those are cute little figs, actually probably among the best ones in my opinion, since they're so instantly recognisable - as opposed to all the Legends who are just redecoes of Cybertron characters, and are generally pretty stretchy as far as feasibility goes.

 

The point is not how many toys or homages one character may have had in the past, but how many Jazz toys are going to be available now.

There is already Movie Jazz and Animated Jazz, both Deluxe Classes.

 

Jazz was updated for animated so he won't be appearing in Universe (if at all) for a very long time.

Legends class toys don't normally come with removable parts.

 

I'll probably get Hound. I don't usually pay any attention to Legends, but it looks nice. I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but I'm sick of Jazz. I'd much rather seen some of the more obscure G1 characters get the love.

 

Your forgetting something, TFA deluxe Jazz. He is the reason there is no Universe deluxe Jazz right now. At some point in the future their could be one but not now. Same with Ratchet.

I think Hound and Jazz both look great, especially for their price tag.

 

I agree that Jazz seems way overdone currently. I was never really a big fan, more a fan of Prowl, but it's just strange that everyone all the sudden needs to see Jazz everywhere. But still, these do look good and I'm pretty much going to snag them if I see them at retail. (Bleh, I remember when I wouldn't have had to say "if")

 

Both look really good, and I'll probably end up getting both of them. Here's hoping that we get a Deluxe class Jazz at some point in the line. Would be cool if they could make a Deluxe class Jazz that had the same basic look of the Legends class one (in both modes), just basically updated/upgraded to that size with all the proper joints and what not. Animated Jazz is cool looking, but I personally would rather have a Classics styled one. As for Hound not having his shoulder launcher, it's not that big of a deal, imo. At this scale it would be too hard to do it, and not have it stuck in the same place in alt-mode. Deluxe Hound will have it (it'll be removable to from what I read), so at least one Hound toy will come with that feature (2 if the legends Hound has it, but I can't remember if it does or not). I can't wait to finally see some pictures of Brawn and Beachcomber.

 

I love those little guys! XD 2 more to my "must buy" list. Still, Deluxes versions should be released soon. XD

 

I can't agree more. I have always liked Brawn. I'm hoping this is the start of giving all the minibots some much deserved love. Oh, and for goodness sakes Hasbro give us a classics Kup.
