    Publisher:
    Dark Horse Comics
    Writers: Mike Mignola, John Arcudi
    Pencils: Guy Davis
    Covers Mike Mignola
    Colorists: Dave Stewart

Something deadly is loose in the halls of the B.P.R.D.!
The B.P.R.D. will need all of its new resources--from Johann's new body to Panya, the team's newest (or maybe oldest) member--to handle the deadly forces that have wormed their way into the heart of the headquarters, as the line blurs between the hunters of the supernatural and their prey.

Written by John Arcudi (JLA, Doom Patrol) and Hellboy and B.P.R.D. creator Mike Mignola, and drawn by acclaimed series artist Guy Davis (Sandman Mystery Theatre, Nevermen), Killing Ground returns the B.P.R.D. to its roots in visceral supernatural horror that will leave the Bureau forever altered.

    * A direct follow-up to the events in B.P.R.D.: Garden of Souls.

THE COMPLETE GREEN LAMA FEATURING THE ART OF MAC RABOY HC

    Publisher:
    Dark Horse Comics

Chanting "Om Mani Padme Hum," the wealthy Jethro Dumont transformed into the Green Lama-a flying freedom fighter made famous in comics by the distinguished and imaginative artist Mac Raboy (Captain Marvel Jr., Flash Gordon). A unique 1940s Buddhist superhero, the Green Lama used special powers gained in a pilgrimage to Tibet to fight master criminals, monstrous dictators, and inequality across the globe. He made his debut in April 1940 in the pulp fiction anthology Double Detective, but he is most well known in his comic book incarnation-especially the stories drawn by Raboy in the eight-issue Green Lama series. Dark Horse Archives presents the entire Green Lama run in two high-quality hardcovers, starting with these first four issues. In addition to Raboy's classic covers and stories, these issues contain entertaining and adventurous bonus stories following the adventures of Lieutenant Hercules, Rick Masters, Angus McErc, and others!

    * Our first volume also features an introduction by free speech activist and patron saint of comics collecting Chuck Rozanski!

    * Long-deserving archival treatment, these enchanting, historic Golden Age tales are now available to fans who can't spend thousands of dollars on original issues!

THE FACTS IN THE CASE OF THE DEPARTURE OF MISS FINCH HC

    Publisher:
    Dark Horse Comics
    Writers: Neil Gaiman
    Pencils: Michael Zulli
    Covers Michael Zulli

Come, come and hear of the strange and terrible tale of Miss Finch, an exacting woman befallen by mystery and abduction deep under the streets of London! New York Times best-selling author Neil Gaiman delivers another stunning hardcover graphic novel with longtime collaborator Michael Zulli (Creatures of the Night, The Sandman). This is the first comics adaptation of his popular story "The Facts in the Case of the Departure of Miss Finch," which saw print only in the U.K. edition of Gaiman's award-winning work Smoke and Mirrors: Short Fictions and Illusions and was recently interpreted for his Speaking in Tongues CD. The Facts in the Case of the Departure of Miss Finch is a "mostly true story" that combines the author's trademark magic realism with Zulli's sumptuous paintings, and has been newly rewritten for this hardcover. Join a group of friends, with the stern Miss Finch in tow, as they enter musty caverns for a subterranean circus spectacle called "The Theatre of Night's Dreaming." Come inside, get out of the pounding rain, and witness this strange world of vampires, ringmasters, illusions, and the Cabinet of Wishes Fulfill'd.

    • The latest hardcover from New York Times best-selling author Neil Gaiman (Anansi Boys and The Sandman: Endless Nights), one of the world's best-loved comics writers!

    • Smoke and Mirrors won the 1998 MacMillan Silver PEN Award for Best Short Story Collection.

The Knights of the Round Table are all gunslingers bound by a code of honor to protect the weak and defend the innocent until they are undone from within by their own moral corruption. In this tale, Caliber itself is a tattooed six-gun, given to Arthur by the Indians and imbued with supernatural power. The secret of the gun is that it is never loaded with bullets, but when a man with Justice on his side is holding it, it can fire. When it does, it fires Thunder itself and never misses.

MOME VOLUME 11 SPRING 2008 TP

    Publisher:
    Fantagraphics
    Editors: Gary Groth, Eric Reynolds

Since its inception in 2005, MOME has bridged the gap between the contemporary graphic novel scene and the current cutting-edge literary scene, serving as a perfect sampler of today's best young graphic novelists in a quarterly format that sits as handsomely on the newsstand alongside journals like McSweeney's and Paris Review as it does in the graphic novels section.

Vol. 11 of the popular series welcomes Killoffer, the exciting French cartoonist whose work has previously only been seen in the acclaimed collection, 176 Apparitions of Killoffer, as well as newcomer Jon Vermilyea. Plus, several other surprises from some of the best new talent in comics.

MOME is an accessible, reasonably priced quarterly running approximately 120 pages per volume, mostly in color, and spotlighting the most exciting new storytellers in comics along with special surprises. MOME is quickly earning a reputation as one of the premier literary anthologies on the shelves, and the only one comprised almost entirely of comics.
