just cancelled everything i had with them, between wanting so very little with them and the cost from the USA keeps going up and up and up, i have decided it was time to look at alternatives, so im buddying up with someone else, it seems its alot cheaper to wait for things to come out in japan and ship from there now.

 

This is gonna be me next month, I have pretty much all of the next Siege releases hitting then and I'm...not looking forward to it.

 

Does anyone have an idea on when their Power of the Primes wave 2/3 preorders are supposed to arrive? I placed my order for Snarl and Sludge about a month ago, and while the preorders are sold out, I still can't find anything about the potential arrival other than sometime during January.

 

Looks like they're enforcing the 90 day limit on PoL items now. I got an email notifying me an item hit the limit and I should ship what's in my Loot all together instead of waiting for them to automatically ship the one item on it's own.

 

Anybody know if they're charging sales tax on apparel? Clothing is exempt in PA but I question the logic of a system that's so dumb that it charges sales tax at the time of shipping instead of when the sale itself actually occurred (when you paid - meaning that everything already in your POL when taxes were implemented should've been exempt because the sale already happened). They've been courteous in answering questions but it seems like there's a lack of interest accommodating those of us caught up in loopholes.

I'm starting to get upset about this because I'm a programmer and I do not handle disinterest in software problems very well.

 

Hmmm an argument could certainly be made that until shipped transfer of ownership has not occurred and thus sales tax cannot be collected until you're ready to ship.

None of our customers do this kind of order stacking though so not something I've had to deal with.

Uh, no. Even with the postal strikes, it shouldn't take 3 months. That's utterly insane and they should be having a trace done at this point.
I do have a recommendation you're not going to like... In the future, I know it sucks, but pay more and get better shipping. By the time you factor in the cost of your POL (and the items in there aren't cheap, to begin with) it's better to pay more and get a better service for such an investment in one's collection.

 

You are right, I should have paid more and who knows if my package now will be delivered or it was lost or stolen.

 

What method did you pay for? (To be more specific, which shipping service would they have used to get it to you?)
