Nog different i think than the original. There is a peg onder the hood and angle it will pushing the wheel inside. To tall and i always thought he looks a bit to simple next to the mpm line... the mpm line looks and feels more premium to me.
$80 on Amazon right now. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CL575LG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Incredible shots as always, Tony! You've made this amazing-looking figure look even more amazing. He goes perfectly with Prime. Bee is a bit too big though.
Bumblebee looks so terrible next to this guy. His chest (and face) is just so completely inaccurate its impossible to overlook it. The DMK will have to do until he either gets an extensive remold or a KO does some serious tweaks. If those panels were done better on Ironhide arms he would be perfect.
Looks like there is room if you cut off a few pieces. I intend to do this at some point and add some magnets for the chest pieces.
So, I got my MPM-6 Ironhide from Amazon today, it's $80 something, and if I don't like it, I can always send it back, for free, so no risk on my side. As I looked at the box, I was worried first seeing double tapes sealing it. Was it a returned bad copy? I opened it, and first thing I noticed, the arm plates don't peg in, no... this one had to go back, I thought. Then I tried to pose it, the right shoulder tab came off quite easily, the left one had no issue staying in place though. Then I noticed, the shoulders were both very solid, I could pose the figure with no problems. They held up well even with the cannons attached to the arms. Then it grew on me, it's very sturdy, very posable! And it's heavy as hell! And It's just a gorgeous figure! Even before transforming it, I decided to keep it. Then came the transformation part, I was too lazy to fetch my iPad for a youtube transformation video. And I had to say I was so proud of myself, I transformed it just by following the manual! The legs have no problem at all, easy transformation. It's the front of the truck that took me a long time. But eventually, after 30 mins or so fiddling and fighting with it, adjusting and re-adjusting, I finally got an acceptable truck mode. It's not easy, but doable with some, I mean a lot, of patience. This may very well be the only time I will transform it though. Anyway, maybe my expectation was set really low, I am pretty happy with it. For $80 something, it's definitely a steal. And here are some quick pictures. BTW, I re-adjusted the front of the truck to make the front grill pieces better aligned than the last picture shows...
why didnt Tfscource compare him and put him with bee and optimus?? thats a let down i really wanted to see all 3 together
You know that there's a pic of them all together posted by savio prime one page back. There's also a photo gallery of Ironhide on the front page that has all three of them together.
