I hope you guys are enjoying your toyworld constructor. I have mine here and the package is so heavy it came in on ebay and Im excited to open it but I want to save it for a special event or later, I'm currently collecting the jinbao constructicons to play with them first, then when we move I'll open my constructor

 

If your seller has a returns window make sure you check the figures before it's too late. It really is a lottery on QC and you don't want to do yourself a disservice by not opening and giving them as over over.

I totally get the excitement but with this set you really need to take each figure through their motions to make sure the are no issues.

This looks to be the best deal (for shipping to the U.S.). It says it's $462 with shipping. Anybody know of a better deal for the metallic version?

 

I want to see what this metallic version looks like. Might be too gaudy for construction vehicles or might be incredible

But the metallic version looks nice though... Shiny purple sure does pop.

 

So I just got notification from Showz to complete my preorder for the metallic version which is in stock. Weird because I thought it was not to be released until March. If this is accurate I am super excited!!

Overall, a very SWEET deal with an out the door price of $484.99 and I get 484 more points in my account. SHowz is da man!

 

Really happy the chrome version will be here soon, though I am a bit worried that they didn't post any newer pictures of the guy.

Yeah, I don't necessarily think that its a bad sign, chances are they want this out on the market before CNY. I hope that the QC will be good.

Interesting. I am wondering if the green and purple parts will have a different finish to them. If it's just the metallic chrome that is almost a letdown. Guess we will have to see.

 

Looking at the promotional picture of C-07P, it looks like the combined parts of Devastator that are gray and purple will be chrome. I doubt that all the purple bits of the robots will be chromed, likely only those that are silver. If you look at Bonecrushers abdomen on the image of the metallic version, it seems that the purple parts of the bots will be plastic, perhaps painted, but not chrome. I actually think this is better, as chrome often has problems with scuffing and fading.

But yeah, I'd like to see pictures so I can stop speculating and know what I paid for ;P

 

And one post before work. They came shipped with their eyes and light piping taped. Left one in birdbox mode.
