Great figure but I really wish she were as tall as FT Rouge.

 

I finally recieved my Stealth Arcee!

First impressions; such a tiny alt mode that it only scales well with MP Bumblebee alt mode. Hmm, shoulder pauldrons don't really peg in, it just goes in the vacant space, there's no friction hold either. Same problem with those back clips to secure that back kibble, there's nothing there to clip or friction hold. Damn that chest was next to impossible to tab and lock into place, there's just no good spot to use as leverage! Leg aesthetics don't bother me at all, however my one hip keeps popping off whenever I try to move it.

Positives; I'm having fun posing her in all kinds of poses! Her tiny feet are heavy enough and joints are tight enough to not worry about her toppling over! I can't stop fiddling with her! I love her evil orange grin face the most, and will be keeping her with said face! Messing with her some more!

The only negatives that I have are just what I stated in my first impressions plus it's not as tall as FT rouge which is my preferred MP Arcee height.

Will I buy normal color MMC Arcee?

You may have missed a step. The inner backpack should perfectly lock in place firmly once done correctly. Did you forget to fold the little car seats down per chance ? I did my first time and that completely prevents the backpack from being able to lock as its suppose to. Gotta make sure the whole inner torso assembly is as snugly folded in as possible so the backpack can do its thing.

The outer shell of the pauldons should be solidly in place too and not be moving at all while the inner sections should have only the slightest of wiggle to them and won't move to general handling if also done correctly. Make sure those are extended fully out and the little notch on either of them on the inside has cleared the big pin hinge spots so the two layers of panels are together as close as can be.

There's about a two to three millimeter gap tops between the inner pauldrons and outer panels of the backpack once its all just right.

Also when going to bot mode always leave the chest plate last. Once the backpack is solid you can then easily put two fingers on its center piece and push the chest down with your thumb without needing excessive force.

 

So is the stealth version gonna get a normal wide release? I really love it more than the normal colours and I can’t find it on many retailers.

 

  What the... Ok, so just ignore my comments about the back clip and pauldrons, the problems I was having with those was immediately remedied as soon as I snapped locked the chest down, the backpack clipped on and the pauldrons, as you stated, has virtually little play thereafter.

So as an amendment to my negatives, it's really just the hip, which is ymmv as some others has the same problem, and the size of bot and alt mode, but that is just strictly personal preferences.

I still love her, and changing pose again!

 

Not likely. Unless MMC does a slightly different version a la Calidus Luminus.

 

Oh okay well I’d settle for that at least. I just want a black and purple MP arcee.

Okay. I'm in love.

 

Something looked off to me, then I looked at the pictures that I was going by (on ShowZ) and noticed the waist and abdomen area have been altered. A pity, I liked the transparant red part (which has been replaced by a generic colored tech 'plate'). The decision to make that one panel above her waist grey may have been made to create a stronger sense of a proper waist (instead of 'panties' that are sitting too high).

 

Looks pretty good. Doesn't look MP to me and certainly wouldn't replace my Rouge but I kind of have a thing for Arcee so I'm a little tempted to get her. I don't know where I'd put her though.

 

I'm more excited for her than I was for Hoodlum. It can't be much longer now.

 

Was already wondering if it was indeed going to happen this week. PSX said it would, but that was for monday.

My GF will be happy that I finally have an Arcee again (she's still a bit...upset that I sold the Animated version).

Sure it can   If our orders haven't left China in the next couple of days, it will be at least another month. Sadly.

 

So how much smaller is she compared to Rouge? Its hard to tell from these pictures

 

BSF's review of the stealth version does a good comp at the 11:35 mark. Just eyeballing it, I'd say about half an inch or so.

The stealth deco has high heels. Maybe the pink deco will be even smaller since she has flat feet...
