So "spoiled" food (which could be repaints/retools of the current lot) along with items for babies, instruments, and holidays.

    EXCITED!

Obviously, if there are still being reported as "news". LOL. Some people still haven't heard of them at all yet.

Amazon frequently lists stuff even before they have the contract signed to get it, sometimes even things they're acting in bad faith with no intention to get at all. *stares pointedly at ex-Toys R Us-exclusive Jurassic World Destructasaurs*

Random idea, Hasbro should make BotBots that turn into Letters and Numbers.

No... signs, maybe... like an old defunct mall-only toy store "KBHobby" would fit the mall theme perfectly...

    but individual numbers and letters?

    Nope.

Loosely related question: My preordered case of single-packs shipped from Entertainment Earth. When I submitted the order, it showed $79.99 plus free shipping for a total of $79.99. However, upon actually charging me, they added out of state sales tax. I understand that this policy varies from shop to shop, but I’ve never had it stealthily added on after I submitted my payment info for a different total before. Is this typical for EE? Had I known, I would have canceled my order and gone with BBTS, which was up-front about collecting tax and now would have been significantly cheaper, as their base price was also less.

Hobby stores sale wooden numbers and letters, also there's Birthday candles that are made as Numbers and letters so it's not that impossible, to have BotBots that turn into numbers and letters.

If the store has a physical location, or is based in your state, then you will be charged the applicable sales tax. Entertainment Earth has a location listed in Simi Valley, California.

I’m not in CA, and the tax itself isn’t the issue. What I am asking is if EE routinely shows you one total and then charges your card a different one.

My last order with them was in November, and it's never happened to me. (I live in Ohio, if that makes any difference.)

Thanks. My preorder was in November, but it shipped in January, so I suppose there could be a weird year-end policy change involved.

I've never heard of a retailer changing the total after the order was placed.
Just for fun, I created an EE account, selected an item, and went through the checkout process.
The total including sales tax was presented before I got to the payment portion of the process.
So maybe something indeed changed after you placed your preorder.
