Unscrewing his knee-caps would be more of a sure thing.

 

Yeah I would rather not have to take him apart every time. I thought about shaving some of the material off the back of the knees where I put the padding.
How is everyone transforming the chest? Before you sort the legs or leave it to last? I’ve been trying to do it last to keep it as far out of the way as possible but then you have to shoehorn it in place delicately at the end.

 

They just slide on and off once you take the screw out, it's not ideal but it's easier than modifying the figure and completely reversible. And chest last.

 

Just be aware that zuochundong114 uses SpeedPAK for shipping. It's just amazing if you like your package to disappear for months.

I automatically leave negative feedback to sellers that "surprise" me with a SpeedPAK tracking number, and I make sure to never buy from them again.

 

Any particular signs that it's a speedpak tracking number? As far as I could tell, it was sent via ePacket (every tracking site i plugged the tracking into, said it was epacket or china ems)

Oh I know for sure it is.

Because zuochundong114 clearly said so in the notification I received over a month ago:

"Your order blah blah blah has been shipped, the tracking number is ES10001*****************1E0A, the carriers is SpeedPAK.Thanks for your purchase!"

And as you can see, the speedPAK tracking is much longer than a real tracking number, and only "works" on their website.

The "tracking" has shown no movement since it was accepted at the local distribution center in HANGZHOU, ZHEJIANG a month ago. And from what I can conclude from some research I've done on SpeedPAK, it will just "sit" there until the estimated date of arrival (Feb 28 in this case), because that is how SpeedPAK works and SpeedPAK is garbage.

The long ETA (3 months) also offers great convenience for chinese scammers. You can't open a claim, or at the very least even leave negative feedback.

As I mentioned earlier, I automatically leave negative feedback to sellers that use SpeedPAK, and I make sure to never buy from them again.

 

See the shipping section for both zuochundong114 and perfectiteminthebox listing. They both show that they are using ePacket shipping for Quietus and not SpeedPAK so no worries there.
Besides the longest I've had to wait to receive a SpeedPAK order from a reliable Chinese seller was 3 weeks to almost a month at the very latest. Others arrived a bit sooner with SpeedPAK. ANd where I live in the USA, a normal Ebay order from China usually takes about 2 weeks to reach me which is the longest compared to customers who live in other parts of the USA. I'm in the southeast.
I'd go with zuochundong114 with the lower price.

How long did it take to actually receive your item from the day you placed the order?
I've never had a SpeedPAK order take 3 months to reach me. 3 to 4 weeks at the most.
SpeedPAK is definitely slower than ePacket/China post but I've never seen it take 90 days to be delivered to me.

 

The screw is on the inside of the leg behind the knee-cap. It comes out really easily, then you just need to peg the knee back on for transformation. The blue metal piece beneath the knee-cap is part of the same piece, so that needs to un-peg too. It goes back on very easily and stays in place fairly well without the screw. I wish I would've done this before I transformed him, as even with some felt between the knees and the chest I feel like they could still apply some friction.

 

It has yet to arrive. It has yet to show any movement at all. It "disappeared" about a month ago.

 

I guess that's good to know that my package wasn't shipped with speedpak.. not like it made much of a difference haha. Gave a call to USPS and they said it was still in customs. I suppose the delay could be because of the government shutdown going on right now.

 

Mine arrived yesterday. Super happy with him!

 

I am so depressed right now. I thought I could live with the chipping, but then my new labels came in. When I went to take off the old label this happened...
