There's a little trick you can do: Don't extend the "elbow" section all the way. See the inner arms aren't fully extended like the outer arms are.

I dunno... while I agree that MP-10 doesn't go well with Mp-36, I actually think Mp-10 (especially the darker blue Takara version) goes pretty well with MP-36+. MP-44 is so toon-based that it wouldn't really look right next to this toy-based Megatron... but MP-10 has more of that Hasui toy-based influence. I think they make a nice pair.

...it's enough to make me consider yellow eyes for MP-10...

Not to mention it single-handedly rebooted the entire MP line into a cohesive entity in terms of scale and design in which every official and 3P MP afterwards was made to adhere to (at least until the shift to major cartoon accuracy).

    I'm glad MP-10 came along too. :)

Has anyone got pics of MP-36+ alongside MP-10 YOTH?
I think they might compliment each other really well in a display!

Lemme swing this back to MP 29+ Shockwave for a minute....

Transforming the other day the piece holding the cable into his back came out. I panicked, but it plugged right back in. Looks like it just came loose from being glued in, and didn't actually break off. I haven't reglued it, since it just went back in. Just a heads up for everyone.

Also, the back of his head seemed to be kind of scratched up, like little micro-scratches from transforming. If you're the type that freaks out about tiny paint imperfections, maybe don't ever transform this guy.

Despite all this, I still quite like this toy.

He means the actual spring came off from the little plug that it’s glued onto. I think the same thing happened to my original 29. I also freaked out but it all went back together

So the gun barrel really doesn't line up, correct? Like every picture looks like it's pointed out and pointed slightly down. The KK video said that too . I would've thought they'd change something to make that line up right.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a paint match on shockwave grey paint color? The ears are all chipped on mine after transforming

Wow, how many times have you transformed him? I only want to transform him about once or twice then just display him. I'm almost done building my display cabinet and my MP-29+ should arrive tomorrow or a day later, hope he's a fine addition to my MP-13 - once I've opened that guy up too...

Has anyone figure out a way to get the barrel on mp-36+ to fit closer to his waist? That slide stop lever just gets in the way.

That's what I was talking about. It's a pretty bad oversight to not fix that.

I think I might make a tab slot for it to peg into. It would be covered by the silence in gunmode.

I know the barrel has the slight swivel and that helps some but it definitely doesn't sit correctly.

Got MP29+ yesterday. Taking it out of the the box it looks gorgeous! That deep rich purple really pops. Then I put it with my S1/S2 Decepticons it just doesn't feel right. I actually prefer MP29 with my Decepticons. The lavender colour just feels right, like from the cartoon. MP29+ though will be my comic-book Shockwave. Just because of Issue #5 I'm keeping this bot. It's that good looking.
