ok, now she looks somewhat better in that review, but I really don't like the head, the back kibble is passable if you can tell yourself that she has some sort of cape.
Has anything come out about them doing a jet version? I bought Dropkick before I saw the movie so there would be a mismatch if I bought the car version.
Couldn\'t hasbro just do what they did to bumblebee with the interchangeable faces? That would be the most logical thing they would do.
Honestly it almost feels like Beast Machines all over again. I would have preferred that the toy have more time to develop. If the toy was set to come out a month or two later than it is now, but with a better head, I wouldn't mind. I understand that the final design changes from the concept design. Its been a problem ofr just about every TF show. But I think it would have been better that the toy come late and get a better head. Though I guess there's always the possibility of a 3p upgrade.
Nope, not yet as far as I know, but there is rumored car version Dropkick that you could display with this Shatter.
Since Dropkick and Shatter use earth modes and don't have the advantage of cybertronian modes like Springer, how would you guys feel as an triple changing alternative of having bot and car mode directly transform but parts form the third mode (like a working shell of a copter around the car mode as an example that you can attach also in bot mode)?
The wrong face bugs me somewhat, but more than it being the wrong face I think it bugs me more that the eye visor area is the same red as the rest of the helmet. It looks like she is wearing a full face shield with no eyes. If they had made the eyes a different color, it would look alot better. In fact, something a sharpie, a few seconds, and some steady hands can't fix.
The atrocious head sculpt, to start. I've heard she has problems with parts falling off as well, so maybe some new components to replace the standard ones
I decided to take one for the team and actually bought her after work. A major problem she has is the design of her shoulders. The sockets on her arms where the ball joints on the shoulders go has a sort of opening at the top above the socket, which causes her arms to be more prone to falling off. She isn't worth full price. Peaugh and Baltmatrix go over the flaws better than I do
Actually those slots are like expansion slots. They're there to relieve stress on the socket. You will find that on a hell of a lot more ball joints than you think. No, the problem seems to be that the tolerances changed between the prototype and production. The shoulder sockets see m to be a bit shallow as well.
I'd love a new head and some new thighs to giver her full range hip motion (or maybe even whole new legs).
