The fact than when given the chance the fandom has voted for female suggests that we are very open-mined or perverts.

I think there is also a bit of a open window when it comes to Fembots. For most of the male character types we already have characters. Leaders like Optimus Prime, warriors like the wreckers. Bumblebee the scout, Swindle the shady swindler. Grumpy Rattrap and Kup the oldtimer.
Just to name a few from different universes.
Fembots do not exist that many and a lot of space and story to tell with them. Imagination enough. Esthetically we also got a lot of different builds for male transformers. While fembots again not so many. Within the original G1 there isn't all that many.
So far with Cyberverse which is the latest story, there are plenty of female bots.3 Seekers, Windblade, Chromia, Arcee and Shadowstrike.

I had to buy her based on the colors and that I love the Victorion combiner but Megatronia (whom I prefer to call Mega Empress since that makes more sense as the combiner to me) is my hands down favorite combiner from that line. Nothing else even gets close to how much I love that set! Totally worth buy IMO!

I’ll be glad when (hopefully) Lancer get released because then we can move on from the G1 toon female Autobots. And they’re a combiner to boot (except for Chromia).

I hope to see more Generations-style characters from other series. Strika, Strongarm, Slipstream... (yes I know Slipstream got a toy with a remold of Windblade but I mean a better toy :lol )

Not to mention people are still waiting for a Generations style Bulkhead or Demolishor.

Just wait until they do the G1 Elita toon combiner version in the next lines exclusives. This Elita doesn't really look good with the toon deco girls, too much of a style departure.

That would be cool! A proper Nautica is on my wishlist of fembots too, one who isn't a pink Blurr with some turbines added.

I still think this Elita would make for a good Nautica custom. Totally need one for that.

Huh, I guess, though it looked a very pink purple in a lot of the pics I've seen. Certainly moreso than in the comic. Might be my monitor.

She’s purple. I actually love her. Sure she’s not accurate to the comics, but none of the MTMTE-styled characters are completely accurate so I dig it. She fits right in with the rest of her crew and giving her one of Gen Wheeljack’s wrenches completes the look perfectly.

I'd like another release of Nautica just because I couldn't find the damn boxset she was in for retail price.

Her main body is purple while the joints and smaller parts are kind of pinkish purple

TR Nautica may not be perfect - or easily available, "thanks" to the box set she was released in - but she's far from terrible, IMO.

I've got her in my Lost Light display with T-30 Skids, and they complement each other nicely. Sure, she's a bit taller than he is, but her overall look is a good reuse of the Blurr mold (and, as others have noted many times before, Hasbro never met a mold they didn't like to reuse :p

All of that said, YMMV, and getting a wider-release Nautica who's closer to her MTMTE/LL look would be a positive. I wouldn't drop the $$ for it, since I'm happy with the one I have (and this one cost me a pretty penny to acquire - all at my own choice, of course, so no complaints there), but putting popular characters in ridiculously exclusive releases is transparently exploitative.

In the meantime, I've gotten Moonracer and Nova/Firestar, and I put in an email alert request to Amazon AFA Greenlight. All I need now is to save up for Elita (not that difficult), and keep an eye out for whenever we hear about Lancer ...

Allow me to clarify. I wasn't implying that the figures were already created before they were part of the Siege toyline. I believe the concepts were drawn up in preparation for each possible victor, and some of those concepts were reworked to fill leader class spots in Siege. Why else would Schockwave have brute armor in a line that's not supposed to force new gimmicks on old characters? I'm really curious to see what the plan would have been for Deathsaurus. He is already a big character that didn't have any kind of power up gimmick.

while not exactly the same kind of power up gimmick, deathsaurus does have his two little chest buddies. im certain they would have had something to do with his potential figure

In the case of Shockwave, because its super easy to take an existing voyager design and add some 5mm ports in it.... Just like what Takara did with their Arms Micro line a few years back. Seriously, People act like Siege is some major reworking and tweaking of the TF franchise. Its an increase to parts count that gives us articulation that we use to get on older figures all the time (like HFTD line comes to mind) and some more 5mm ports that they took advantage of and worked the lines gimmick of Targetmaster/TM armour (for lack of a better term) into the mix.

i dont understand how come they do just make siege versions of them to get rid of the ball joints and fix the scale and while doing them in siege offer up the cw in a separate line. and idk much about them do they really combine in g1 not counting comics like idw. im just saying they want to include female bots but they want them to be made cheaply and shoehorn in a line that could of had their own designs for making them more appealing to buy. i mean i said it before make the last two figures to combine her arms doing that they can make them chormia size so they can atleast fit in the siege line and redo the older figures so they can up the details on them while completing the combiner figure.
