WTF! Found him at German retail. The EAN isn't even in the system yet.

Seen at the Real store in Duisburg-Meiderich.

Obviously, being (supposedly) the second person to have ever seen him at retail, I couldn't resist, so I bought him.

The Hasbro product code number is E0743 (one higher than Bumblebee, who is E0742) while the EAN barcode is 5010993576739, but the latter will be completely useless to anyone outisde Europe because you need a twelve-digit UPC that begins with 630509, not a 13-digit EAN.

    Some out-of-packaging images:

    Side by side with Bumblebee:

What's funny about this is that- then again, yeah. This is sorta more peculiar than funny, considering that there were two bumblebee Speed Igniters and they picked the one with the beetle alt mode. I thought it was an Bumblebee (And Glyph) only thing.

Unless you're a Diaclone/Microchange fan, then there most assuredly IS something to see here.

I'd love to see a Glyph in this line or Generations. I've been waiting years for a new and more poseable one.
(I'd settle for another third party version if need be. *looks at Iron Factory hopefully*

Do the German and Australian releases have different barcodes?

Man, Cliffjumper just can't ever catch a break, can he? Seriously, the guy deserves his own mold in one of the toylines.

As I explained before in other threads, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Asia typically get toys in packaging sporting twelve-digit UPC barcodes that begin with 630509, while European countries (plus apparently South Africa and Israel?) get toys in packaging sporting thirteen-digit EAN barcodes that begin with 5010993.

*stares at photos of Cliffjumper and Bumblebee comparison pics*
I'm probably going to buy this guy. He may be a red Bumblebee, but he's still Cliffjumper, and that's what makes him worth it to me. Any redecos that Hasbro makes of this mold will likely be bought by me as well.
