I for one think it would be pretty rad if this thing did transform into some kind of vehicle that was just as "patchwork" as the bot mode. That'd be fun.

 

It was ok imo. The final cgi creature could have been better.

Surprised its not done by now...shouldnt take very long to make a non-transforming figure...lol

 

They need a lot of time to design all the inconsistencies and disproportions to really capture the essence of the character.

I can go for X-Man, but "Mimic" or "Adaptoid" would be better, reflecting the two most famous characters who took on elements of other's appearances and powers.

If the price is suitable, I might buy one. I have a Gundam stand that's similar to the operating table thing from the show, so that could make for a cool display piece (though I might need to buy or make a bigger one because the one I have is probably too small).

Bits of it look like it could transform, and I could see how it might work, but I doubt it actually does transform. I don't mind either way (though not transforming would help keep the price down).

Here's hoping for some mini-figures with it though. The official Masterpiece humans are such garbage figures. I need good replacements already, dammit!
