I know. In IDW size discrepancy between bots is enormous and that has bothered me.
It's a bit confusing when you got people thinking of IDW chug, their own idea of G1 chug and MP versions of both.
Ideally I'd like Deathsaurus to be leader class in my G1 chug collection.
So Ismenios wouldn't fit in there.
But I have no problem having him a stand alone amidst my other idw guys, where I don't care about relative size that much.
I don't really have an IDW collection as I see it, just the guys I think have cool designs.

Ismenios was never intended to be G1 after all. The whole "G1" upgrade thingy is just a response to MMC. The bot mode does not look G1, neither does the alt mode.

KFC will supposedly make a proper G1 scaled Deathsaurus.

 

Indeed!   This is going to be a great addition to those that love a more G1 look for Ismenios. However, Ismenios still remains mostly IDW at core. Then again, options, no matter how grandeur or minute a change, is always good  

Eh, iffy subject. I don't think it's a matter of hate. However, to many 'scale' isn't just about size but about aesthetic (falls very true regarding "MP scale") as well as size. When viewed that way there are many who just don't care for the MP scale. This becomes more true regarding how the MP mania has the majority of share with 3p atm. Those that do not want that aesthetic want their cut of the pie too. Though we are lesser in numbers, we are still enough to have them look in our direction too (i.e. enough of a want exists). With Ismenios, he's tall enough to probably fit in size-wise with other figs from other companies, but aesthetics-wise he doesn't fit into MP scale. Know what I mean?

Gorgeous, really hope we can get an Encore Deathsaurus someday but I’d bet the mold is long gone by now.

 

This coming out soon with help make the D-Zef year long wait more tolerable. Pretty excited to get this guy and the Star Saber to go along with him.

 

Someone has the mold. We just don't know who

His size relative to MP 10 was already shown in that previous review.

 

He looks really good. I like the alt mode as well, specially on the flight stand. Would love to see it with a G1 kit as I do like those wings better.
