Favorite movie-verse figure of 2018?.... That's a tough question. So many that I've bought and will be getting still. I will update this in a couple of weeks with pics since I'm getting a couple of bots that could be on the list.

HONORABLE MENTION: MPM-6 IRONHIDE
He would've won easily if he had proper tolerances. Both his bot and alt modes are nearly flawless in the looks department and he shines in front of a camera.

RUNNER UP: STUDIO SERIES JAZZ
A surprise to me since I had no intention of getting him. The gripes that I had with him before I got him are all valid. He's SMALL and he has virtually the entire top half of his alt mode on his back. But his articulation is impressive and his build quality is top tier amongst other studio series figures. Hopefully this guy is a stripped down preview of the heavily hinted at MPM Jazz.

PERSONAL BEST OF 2018: MPM-5 BARRICADE
After a decade we finally got a Barricade to be happy about. Accurate sculpt and alt mode. Accurate proportions. Nearly kibble free. My only complaint lies in the color palette chosen.

In a bit of a movie mood this evening:

 

Got the KSI Sentry today and I think that he wears the Stinger mold better than Stinger. The blue just looks so much nicer than Stinger's red. I kinda like the claw weapon thing he comes with as well.

 

Damn, he's super poseable, and that head sculpt is amazing!!!

I guess it's just an overall impression of which figures were the most popular. There are definitely a few that get a lot more votes than others. I wish we could do a poll within this thread!

I completely agree with you. Such a shame cause he's almost the best. Future the inner shoulder joints that made mine a LOT more stable and made it into an even better figure!

I hope they do another version, personally. The one they have now is so off.

Plus it'd probably be too big to scale with the DOTM deluxes
