*sigh* I need to listen to reason. The overwhelming need to satisfy my morbid curiosity about this thing is just a waste by all accounts. I can't seem to help myself. =\

    Ouch. That's bad. lol

Okay, I'm closing the door on buying this. $50.00 could be used elsewhere.

Yeah, don't throw your money away. In my opinion, store need to pay me 50 for owning it --- after all it will take display space and my time to fix this.

Yeah. Decided to go with DX9 AL-01 upgrade kit for CW Megatron. I've been meaning to get get it and now I have even more reason to.

Oh, that's bad. I love transforming my figures. I'd be sad if I couldn't. =\

Finally found the courage to transform it. Took me like 2 hours in total. It's not that difficult once you know how it works, but getting there...

Everything does tab together very firmly in the end. It's a really solid gun. And it looks (at least to me) like the best gun mode as of yet. Ok it could use some better finish.

Not gonna go to tank mode. Maybe someday. And the accesoires suck big time. Too many parts, and not everything is used in all modes. That could've been done a lot better.

Quality wise... well the plastic feels thin and brittle, but it held up the transformation fine, and I could even be a bit rough at some parts without problems.

Not a 130,- toy by a mile, but I'm pretty happy with it for the 40,- or something I got it for.

It's unfortunate that this is both spendy and not up to quality standards. This could have been a great toy, but it fell flat by a long shot.

yeah, it's unfortunate - doesn't help that it also looks rather drab, due to the creator refusing to use any paint on the figure.

it's too bad, cuz i was rather interested when it was first announced, but the poor execution ruined it and now i doubt i'll ever pick this up... :(

I paid full price on release date and I still love that figure, I made a lengthy 1h video review of it, with all the transformation.... YES he's a floppy mess... but I still love that figure.. he could use paint love, or at least stickers decos... robot mode is floppy... Tank mode is a nice bonus but a nightmare to transform into.... but the Gun mode makes it all worth it... SO very solid, best looking Gun mode megatron out there by a mile.

My MAIN problem are the forearms... two tiny pannels that are both floppy and like to pop out of hinges easily... they drive me crazy during transformation.... Still I like to pick that fella up my shelves once in a while and just trasform it. Yes plastic feels thin and brittle... BUT it actually helps to transforms... the part bends easily and never shows stress marks so it makes it all good.

I dont like the accessories much, they can get cumbersome, and most of them are used only in 1 of the 3 modes... but at least the figure comes PACKED with accessories... and the box is cool looking. Still think It's a worthy figure... specially if you find it on special. Just... be wary that the robot mode is Very floppy... takes about 5min to pose... once you get it it's cool... but it feel like posing a ragdoll. in robot mode everything has a place to peg... and if everything pegged it would be a solid figures.... but most of the solidifying pegs dont holds very much (the back pack should peg in the back... but doesnt... instead it just rests there... the waist does peg to the torso... but lift the figure up from the torso and it'll unpeg...

Again, if Wei Jiang or another company improved the bits that need improving it might be worth a pick up, The best thing to come out of this toy was the Jobby the hong review

Ah, thanks. I've just checked and he's back up to $150 now! At $40 I would have got him out of morbid curiosity (unless shipping to the UK was stupid expensive), but at $150, no way!

I really like the look of this figure in all modes, but the absolutely crappy build doesnt justify the price of the figure. It needs to be manufactured by someone who knows how to build figures

Which is why I suggested Wei Jiang. Their knock offs are on par with Hasbro/Tamara and the third party companies and sometimes even better. So they could easily fix him and Lonewolf up nice.
