The eye has light-piping, the chest does not light up. Only the arm-cannon and gun-barrel light up with pink LEDs.

 

Weird. Maybe this was based on older information? Still, annoying that they would be falsely advertising like this...

 

Yeah...sounds like they've got him mixed up with some of the 3rd party MP-style Shockwaves like Quakeblast and Quakewave, they have these features.

 

Just got Shockwave and .... his eye is orange?????

Maybe some third party can come to the rescue with a new eye that is solid yellow. Also maybe a black hose?

 

If hes in China or Japan he probably got a review copy or... maybe hes already out there? They have been known to get stuff before people here at times. Idk.

 

I haven't bough a TFs in years, and despite Sockwave being of of my favourite, I skipped the original release as I was a bit letdown by the more lavender colour of the original. But I really wanted this version, even if I'm not actively collecting anymore. So I ordered it when it was announced and finally got my first TFs in like 4 years!

 

It wouldn't be hard to make a replacement yellow piece. The orange was chosen to negate the green effect that was happening with the yellow mixing with the blue/purple. It works a little bit, but sometimes it does look straight up orange. I know @onnsake painted the eye of his copy yellow, but I do like the translucent effect of the eye.

Shadow Fisher made a light-up head for MP-29, if they still exist maybe they'll do another for 29+.

Yeah maybe you're right. Kapow say they're getting their stock on December 17th, which is a bit earlier than anticipated, so I guess this guy has been ready for a while. We'll know by the date stamps on him when he arrives.
