Huh yeah good call. I'm not sure I expect TT to do that, since it was never even produced (and they didn't include Megatron's sword with 36+), but I imagine someone could design one for Shapeways



They already did that for MP-10 (I believe @Destructimis Prime got her MP-10 antennae from the same builder).

 

I think they are really going Diaclone for his repaint, it makes so much sense as you can pick up people who normally collect Diaclone. Diaclone trailer,toy tampos, diaclone drivers homaging the original toy ones, multiple heads, and the ability to use his blaster like a shoulder cannon. More importantly though that yellow Trailbreaker repaint would look pretty sweet with it.

 

Have you seen the pics of what this Prime can do? Get ready to purchase him, bro.

 

It would be super cool. I'm not full-on expecting it, though, not for the + release. I'd say more people had the original G1 toy than Battle Convoy, and the former deco would sell better.

I'm sure someone will make awesome Battle Convoy DIACLONE stickers for the trailer. It'd be super interesting if the toy version came with Diaclone pilots, but 44's minifigures look about twice the size of the Dianauts. Still, I imagine there will be plenty of Diaclone reboot fans who would be in for the purchase.

 

We'll get toy stickers and a red, blue,and green yellow spike with a chrome head . As a general release hopefull with the price being the same or nearly the same , they have to do enough to make people want to buy it, I think you need more than a toy head and tampos to do that.

We are in similar boats. I wasn’t 3rd world but I’ve come to find out that most of my transformers were stolen. Parents gotta do what they think they gotta do I guess...

I’m happy I can afford all the toys I desire now. And this new direction of toon only REALLY makes me remember those 3 different transformers VHSs I had. I love the toon style with passion as well.

Oh I'm sure there are plenty who would agree with us but I might just wait for the KO version, they have been killing it lately. I had MP36 Megatron but traded it for a hole bunch on Iron Factory figures and settled on the KO and its fine. If they make one for 1/6th of the price (I live in Canada, he will costs us $600) then yeah. A big FU to Takara for these Rediculous Prices! Seriously, if everyone just stopped giving in and paying such crazy prices then things might actually change.
