I’m guessing that you don’t know that Walmart has a marketplace similar to Amazon? It says right there, ships and sold by “The Toysource”, not Walmart itself.

Because of this, you can actually find 3P items on their sometimes, though usually for insane markups.

Yes, that is the only thing Walmart price matches anymore, is their online store.

 

I just checked and it's online for $12.97. Rather than trying to price match and getting some difficult, corpulent clerk who's angry at the world, I bought it online, added some rollback Marvel Legends to get over free 2-day shipping threshold and will return the one I bought at full price after they arrive.

I just hope they don't put stupid stickers and crap all over it like GameStop sometimes does.

 

Glad I decided to hold off on the G1 minibots hoping I'd find them in person. I found them at my local Walmart in TX for $7.86 this morning. This same Walmart had some corrected G1 Hot Rods for $30:

Damn, this makes me want to check my Walmart closest to me. I got Hot Rod online for 14.97 but it says it won't be at the STORE till after 6pm today. This walmart hasn't had a single g1 show up on the shelf yet though..

 

just checked my walmart. no minibots. no room for them either. pegs are full of generations legends class and movie toys. i saw the bumblebee cardboard set up in a main aisle with tons of cheap toys for xmas. the bumblebee set up was full of movie toys. since the minibots aren't showing up in brickseek i'm screwed. i won't be checking walmart everyday.

 

Yep still no Minibots here... But then again I expected as much.

My local Walmart sucks and rarely stocks anything, so I'll probably never find the minibots unless I got to another store outside the city where there are less scalpers.

I lucked up and found Devastator twice, but the second time, it looked like someone returned it as the box was all beat up.
