I'm just excited to see some new stuff. I feel like things have been on the quiet side in terms of showing new and upcoming designs, and I hope it's because they've been saved for this weekend.

MFT Astrotrain would be awesome. I still have hope for Soundwave too, especially since they're doing Blaster.

 

So the DX9, MS and IF guys wait around after conventions for the MFT guys with bats, chains, boards with nails in them, pocket knives, etc?

Hmmm, I'm tempted to get that as SG Omega Doom, since they never did a proper repaint of Cybertron Menasor. And frankly the size of this is about what that would've been anyway.

Or I'll get it in case they ever start doing Diaclone/pre-TF repaints of Legends-scale figures.  

 

New Omega colors are pretty cool. He looks great as a generic Big Bot for diaclone

 

I want them to make another run of Machine Boy's Transportation Captain out of slightly heavier plastic and call it their Astrotrain.

Naw, I got that. I'm saying that different makers have different relationships with the folks that do their designs. MFT seems very transactional.

MFT's booth is right next to Papa Toys'. Spectator seating is limited; first come, first serve.

now we are talking i completely forgot about that one. if they can get close to something like that scaled down to today's standard of bots. i would be calling it game over 

but that is a big if even though MFT is machine boy reborn. i am not sure they aren't just going a new route instead of dusting off the old cad floppys.

 

Oh yeah, this is just me wishful thinking; the "trailer" stoked my imagination on that toy.

 

well you cant count them out after all. they did drop omega after a 4 year tease that everyone forgot about. so who knows im just ready for the action.
