Everything you need to know is in this thread @LipSmack it's agreed that MP-29+ is a more 'premium' figure in that he has nicer/more paint. It's also felt that he doesn't quite match the cartoon and the shade of purple lays somewhere in-between the toon and the darker toy original deco. As to whether he is worth the extra money to you...well you'll have to decided that for yourself.

 

Wonder how he got a copy of 36+ so early.

Anyways, I almost had a meltdown a few minutes ago. I ordered MP-29+ from BBTS and they shipped it out by FedEx (to be delivered by USPS) on Wednesday. Shipping from Wisconsin to Virginia Beach is usually 3 business days, so I expected it to be delivered tomorrow (Monday), and the last tracking said it was at my local post office and scheduled for Monday delivery.

Ok, cool. Something to look forward to.

So, I just happen to check the tracking on it one more time...and it was delivered TWO hours ago. Oh, the delivery isn’t the problem. The problem is it’s been fucking raining all day here and the delivery person left the package at my door WITHOUT PUTTING IT IN A PLASTIC BAG.

And—ANNNNND—the fucker didn’t even ring the doorbell.

The only thing that saved MP-29+’s box from getting wet was the bubble wrap BBTS packed it in.

Whatever. The box is fine and Shockwave is fine in all his purple glory.

I am surprised there are no English video reviews of MP29+ out yet, while the figure itself has been released like one week ago?
Normally the reviewers are fighting over who has his video up first...

I just would like to see some 'moving' pictures to see what he looks like among the other Decepticons before I pull the trigger.
And maybe a comparison between 29 and 29+ as a bonus.

 

I think this guy was way too expensive for the usual suspects to review it...and considering he's more or less a repaint, who knows. I'm looking forward to chek mine out when it arrives.

Got an invoice to pay off the remainder from Kapow, apparently they're getting 36+ on the 17th of December! Looks like there'll be an MP for under the Christmas tree

Anyone have pictures of the chest and eye lit up? TFS says they have LEDs but I haven't seen any photos.
