Facebook. All US residents. All simple address changes. I rolled the dice and updated my payment first and then a day later changed my address. So far no cancelation.

 

Oh jeez, that sucks. You lose whatever PO price you were locked in at. Glad my address hasn’t changed.

Have they tried contacting Amazonjp to see if they can get their original price honoured?

 

I asked them to change my address, no dice, said I'd have to cancel and reorder. I'll have to intercept with DHL.

 

Well I'm at 48 hours+ since I changed it and no cancelation yet so I'm hoping it's still good.

If you guys aren't willing to put your entire life on hold for a few extra months for this figure then you aren't real fans and deserve the cancelations. The nerve of some people.

 

Oh on the contrary, life can never go on hold in this hobby. I’m going to be working as much overtime as I can to fully recover from buying two of these, plus the impending customs charge and the Christmas spending and also try to get some surplus cash to make sure I’m well off enough to drop that $200+ whenever the JX Megatron drops along with a couple Hot Toys I went and POd with a deposit when I didn’t feel like splashing around $400 in one sitting.
This is why release dates are important; I need to prep for when my bank account is about to get slammed!

 

One of the things that bothers me the most is the Maximals' designs, all of them have big expressive eyes, almost like animals from a Disney's fairy tale. The "transformations" weren't great either. The story was great though...

 

Beast Machines has pluses and minuses for sure. On a larger budget, the potential would have been harvested more thoroughly. At least it was in continuity. Then that became too hard and we're still paying for it today with watered down lesser adaptations of TF lore year after year, including on the big screen. What a turning point.

I wonder what a Beast Machines MP would be like? No show has ever cheated more robot to alt mode than Beast Machines.

 

I thought the maximal designs were cool - like the 3D designs/ technology got a huge upgrade. Not as nostalgic as the original BW designs, but still pretty cool, IMO. The downside to BM, IMO is that you needed to watch every single episode in order. I remember watching the first however many episodes as a kid back in the day, when they didn't reveal WTH happened to the maximals and it was hard enough to follow as is. Imagine watching random episodes and trying to figure out what was going on

 

Someone post pictures from that Generations book involving Megatron please, I need the distraction, I already had thoughts about pre-ordering M44-OpOP.

It's out today I think, we have a few photos of the pages with Prime over in the MP-44 thread.

 

I didn't see any photos of Megatron, did I miss them? I'd rather discuss that that MP-44 to be honest.

As we've seen with other releases it has. Maybe not for BW Megatron though who we've seen loads of already.
