Black Friday is Christmas' Trojan Horse. Before Halloween started fighting back it briefly annexed September once.

Hi I just want to share my thoughts about MP-44 and get the opinion of both teams. I listen to all the podcast for a couple years now and I enjoy the mix and how different are both teams.

The figure is ridiculously expensive and yes it has a lot of accessories to justify the price point. Also it could potentially be the last Masterpiece figure. As many have said Takara could have it at a lower price point or without the trailer or less accessories. But one thing that comes in mind is that Takara is a Japanese company rooted in a Japanese culture and with that they take robots or the Transformers brand very personal. With that comes that this figure is meant to commemorate the 35th Anniversary of the brand. Not every brand gets to see all the changes and to become what the Transformers brand did in pop culture. Corporate aspects and many other factors could have played on the price, but I believe that also the 35th Anniversary has its roots on why this figure is what it is. I could be wrong and at first I was like hell no is too much. But since this figure is the 35th as I will be I am 80% on it and with some budgeting I can get it.

Custom Alternators? I only made about 11 of them before I stopped. Had plans to make 5 more but never got around to it.

With regard to the single price point- I think what got left out of the Jetfire convo was that he could totally be a build-a-figure if they wanted to keep the contents of each box at a similar price point. I for one, would love to see TF build a figures!

Heroes of Cybertron did a BAF Fort Max.

But mentioning a BAF, Tarn would be awesome since he doesn’t transform anyway. I think the issue with TF BAFs is that we only get 3-4 figures per wave. You would need 2 waves to get a full BAF out.

Going to say this; my other half works retail, so do her many friends. The moments when somebody has purchased her a soda, or a snack are moments that, in that cesspool of TRUE BLOODED AMERICAN CAPITALISM, really brighten the day. Some of those people CANNOT afford food. She has friends that live paycheck to pay check for so many reasons they cannot avoid or can't help at that point except to keep working.

So giving them a pack of crackers or bottle of water isn't going to be a detriment, maybe there's a situation or two wherein the gesture is unwanted and unappreciated, but from my experience it's mostly going to be appreciated by people who are rarely, if ever, seen as anything more than equipment.

It kinda got sidetracked, but it was established in one of the early MTMTE stories, where Pharma was harvesting T-cogs from dying transformers for Tarn (who apparently burns through his often) as a sort of protection racket.

Thanks for taking my question about the single price point idea, I really liked the ensuing conversation. For the record, I’m not sure it’s something I’d want Hasbro to do, but I think it’s interesting to think about.
