I'm curious: is Gaudenter more/less/the same in terms of robot mode stability compared to the FT version? Soar was a huge disappointment to me in that regard.

 

Nobody knows since nobody except the GP people have had the toy in their hands, but given GP's track record thus far, he should be pretty damned solid.

He does have smaller feet and a bigger backpack (wings) than the other Dinos, though, so that's always a concern, especially at the larger GP size. But I'm sure they've taken that into account and done the best they could with the design. If worse comes to worse, he at least comes with a display stand.

 

Hahahaha. Oh wait are you being serious about bbts? Personally, I use bbts mainly for non TF collectibles as I like their preorder system. But showz is my current vendor of choice for all TFs. If you read the room and (and the 3rd party forum), show.z, baba and other non bbts stores are quite reliable and cheaper than bbts for this line of toys.

I mean, look at MP Rodimus reissue, bbts is at $230 US plus $4 slow shipping, showz is at $159 US with free fast shipping, plus they have free coupons!

Bbts will eventually get gaudenter, but maybe a few months after the asian sellers get theirs, and I'm pretty sure a few months after I get mine.

 

gp is worlds better than ft in every reguard including stability and solid design.

 

Baba is a trusted seller, so you wont need to worry about actually getting your product, but... dont you dare expect quick delivery time nor super duper friendly after service. You have to be patient, and polite, and most important of all, persistent. Most fans that buy from him know this and usually get great pricing and product, with little issues if ever, but yes, they do happen and dont expect BBTS service (or great communication/english).

errrm thats a very bold statement, but i cant agree. I do love gigas dinos! But to say they are better in EVERY SINGLE way is untrue, I own both sets atm, or well at least whats been released from giga. Grassor has durability issues with his leg kibble that is very prone to breaking, and guttur initially had problems with his legs. But FT also had issues with their gold chrome thigh pieces on swoop.

 

I agree, I've got 2 Gigasaurs and 2 Iron Dibots. FansToys uses a sturdier plastic than Gigapower, Sever is rock solid in dino mode. You're right about Grassor's leg kibble, the linkage is extremely soft and fragile, definitely something to watch out for.

 

yeah man, like I said I do love both of them. I love the sheer shelf presence that the gigas have with their size and the premium paint they have ( like using that slightly metallic grey instead of just grey plastic like FT), but I do love the way FT dinos look in dino mode more because they dont have those weird head sculpts like grassor and especially Graviter in dino mode, The FT just have that Classic look that I really love. In an ideal world for me the FT would be perfect for me if they were bigger ( but thats just me cus I like my dinos to be HUGE hahah ). Though by the looks of it Giga Grimlock is, for me, gonna be the best Grim out of all (not counting things such as quality, im just talking based on looks atm). My point is they are both great sets   you just gotta choose depending on what mode you will be displaying in and just your overall aesthetic preferences. I'm cheating tho and getting both cus hahah  

 

both set have their own pros and cons. i'll double dip if i can...

well, just got GP's message the other day. Chrome guttur is currently shipped to most of the retailers. chrome gaudenter will follow shortly (although their definition of "shortly" can varies in months...). And according to them, both blue and red will be released together.

 

when are they saying for swoop?

 

I'd like to know too... this was supposed to be my Christmas present from my parents. My fiancee is getting me MMC's Inventa as well, so this could be a lean Christmas for me.
