Camaro bee in wave 1, VW bee in wave 3, the 2 SDCC gold repaints, the custom garage version with extra parts and Charlie, the 2 pack with TLK versions and next year the camaro with battle damage.... With this one we have 9 bees, the series this year is about 20 action figures, Bee represents a third of the studio series line....

 

How does that look better and worse at the same time?

Did they just trade some of the silver paint apps for the bad rust? I thought he had silver for the soles of his shoes. [Checks pics of the regular VW Bee] .... Yep. They did.

 

So is this the Japanese counterpart of Volkswagen Bumblebee from the "Then & Now" 2-pack, then?

Oh well, guess I’ll show up to 7-11 when it warms up and see what all the hubbub is about. We’re overdue for something good. Maybe if I eat enough candy bars I can get lucky in a drawing, otherwise it looked to be 50 bucks.

 

It seems exactly the same as the American version. Hardly an "exclusive" at all.

What's worse is that at least some of these stock photos are actually just the stock photos for Takara's general retail SS-16 Bumblebee with the "rust" added in Photoshop.
