Has anyone taken apart Prowl's head before? My copy has some extra plastic around his right eye that partially obscures his eye. I want to trim the plastic, but I want to take his head apart so I don't accidentally scratch up any part of his face or eye in the process. I tried taking the screw out of the back of his head, but I can't seem to get the head to come all the way apart - it separates at the top but I can't get it to come apart at the bottom.

Any suggestions?

 

I’m just coming back to this thread after a few weeks. Is that line on the face kind of like a vertical scar on his cheek. If so I have the same problem. I’ve reached out to the seller about it.

 

Yes exactly. I think it’s how the face is molded but they didn’t put enough paint on to hide it. From a distance it’s hard to see but close up it’s pretty ugly.

 

Would anyone have, or be willing to take a couple comparison pics with Sunstreaker and Prowl? mostly looking for head size comparisons, huge thank you in advance

I really don't know what's up with TCP not having this in stock at this point.

 

I would cancel it if I hadn't already paid for it when I ordered (I ordered when it dropped everywhere else). There's no real rush to get it either since it'll sit in my Stash till I get enough items to qualify for the free shipping, which won't be soon since nothing of interest is dropping soon.

 

There is a pin (located at the base of the neck) that needs to come out before the head comes apart.

It is not an easy thing to do though as you need a steady hand and a pin puncher.

Eye paint definitely tends to scratch easily in my experience, so do be careful.

Interesting--I got mine from TFSource, and it was also listed as the "Hasbro" release, and there was no sleeve!
