Armageddon is Zeta’s Vortex right? I’m not a big fan of the liberties Zeta took in Robot and Vehicle mode. Combined mode looks okay. Would have been nicer if the paint scheme was more cartoon accurate in combined mode. So it’s an easy pass.
Assaultus individual robot and vehicle modes look good from the renders I’ve seen. That’s the MMC one? I’m just not a fan of the studio ox combined mode. I usually like studio ox, but not when it comes to Bruticus. (Too Toy Inspired) So I hope either FansToys or X-Transbots does their take on a Masterpiece Bruticus one day. Until then, I’m happy with Ragnoros.

 

Armageddon is Zeta's Bruticus, Ocular Max is working on a G1 inspired chest piece for Assaltus too.

 

Hmmmm. I’m going to have to keep an eye on that set then. It would seem like a great idea for a third party company to make a toon accurate chest piece too.

 

I read somewhere that, despite their renders and protos showing the toy chest, the toon chest variant is actually going to be the first one they release.

Is there meant to be a reissue for Swindle? I see that TFSource have him for pre-order with what seems like a placeholder release date (Nov 2018  ) - Missed out on the first run and he's the only one I need to complete the set.

I made some adapters and custom pieces , to connect Unique Toys limbs to Zeta torso (Onslaught) in case any of you are interested this is the link and it is an image compared to Toyworld Devastator, the set is not painted yet not even sanded, I think I will upload it to shapeways so anyone interested can us it

 

Nice to see you guys all have it perfect.
Just be carefull with Unique Toys figures.
They just break to easy.
I still have problems with mine.
My seller " netclow " nor Unique Toys are helping me with the broken ratchet.
I have contacted them many times.
Netclow was just lying to me for over half year that he is asking UT for the parts.
Now after half year that i don't have e-bay protection anymore, he just say " you contact UT yourself or you broke it so deal with it ".
I advice you not to buy from this guy and also i'm never gonna buy another UT nor DX9 toy.
UT/ DX9 never answered to my mails.
No customer service at all.

And it's broken on the combiner port on Onslaught left leg.


And also be careful with his hands since mine just got very lose and can't hold a weapon anymore.
It will just swing into this position.

The ratchet works again and hand is tight now.

that is one of the reasons Im not using UT Onslaught , I heard it was very delicate, and it is not show accurate, besides that it becomes a very small Bruticus torso, the other UT members are great I have no problem with them in my UT/Zeta Combiner
