My Tarn's back battery compartment screw hole in the middle of the figures back was stripped. It will not grab and basically the cap won't stay on the figure without the backpack holding it in place. Please Let me know if anyone else gets a stripped back screw hole as well either out of the box or after replacing batteries. UPDATE: D4toys.com sent me a replacement Tarn and it does not have the stripped screw hole on its battery compartment or any other issues, so thankfully it was an isolated incident.
I can't find him anywhere anymore for under $370. Everywhere sold out. Knew I should have bought him when I had a chance. If anyone decides to cancel their pre order, let me know.

I mean. I bought a $400 action figure/statue. I assumed they where going to sell me accessories later on. Hasn’t flametoys ever gone to the America girl doll store? Sell the clean mask and some other idw Easter egg accessories. Non transforming vos or kaon in alt modes etc
I finally had the time to open and mess around with this masterpiece of a figure and my god is it worth the money. There really is no way to explain the heft and premium feel that you get when you handle this guy. Do I plan to go into this line? No, my wallet simply cannot handle the amount of money these guys are asking for, but I can say without any doubt that if drift is as good as tarn(and I heard he is), they are the best transformers figures I have ever handled in my life. Simply jaw-dropping. The one complaint I have is the fact that his shoulders aren't as tight as I want them to be? He can hold any pose just fine, even point straight forward with his cannons on(which have some weight to them), but they will flop a bit if you jiggle the figure. Not an actual issue but considering how tight his leg joints are, it would have been nice if his arm joints were just as tight. Also his hands a re kind of a pain in the ass. But all in all, he is simply stunning just to look at, let alone handle. Best purchase i've made in the past 2 years, for sure.
I hope someday they will reissue this guy with "fixes" i.e. tighter everything. I'll be a buyer then.

Couldn't help it.... I broke down and bought one from tfsource. Now the hunt for a reasonably priced drift! Edit Also, I just noticed TFSource is adding a 60.00 Mystery gift to orders over 300.00 so that's pretty cool and kinda makes up for them selling the figure at a bit higher price. Can't wait to see what it is.
