They're not, no. The new LB format is just fine.

 

Unless your in the top 50 alliances you ain’t getting shit. They may have changed the format, but the pay to play alliances will always get the best prizes.

 

Sadly, I think that's the model they're going for.

 

Of course they are didn't you know that by now?   This LB format will never go away.

 

I use Lynx and Jazz as an extremely effective counter to time traps. It is possible to walk a honeycomb TT without ever breaking a wall and the gunners just sweep around the front of the TT.

 

Yup this format is terrible. Top 100 alliances have no need for a new 3* bot, whereas those that need them can't come close to getting in top 100. Some dumb monkey logic, but it's obvious by now they don't care for anyone outside of their high paying customers.

 

If the top 100 alliances have no need for a new 3* bot, then how is that a reward for being a "high paying customer"?

 

The ultimate prize is the 4* which only top 5 gets. Secondary prizes are shards and sparks but not many lower alliance can come close to getting the full amount. Also, prizes outside of top 100 are basically nothing.

 

I am not a hardcore earth wars player. But some of the requirements and the balancing issues, my God this game has problems. The best part is obtaining characters. But how if I am gonna obtain characters if the game always gives me duplicate. that aren't won't shit. When you get a duplicate in Forged to Fight you don't feel ripped off. Because they give you something of value. In Earth Wars It like the game is actively trying to do that. How out of the hundreds of characters it summons a worthless duplicate. Now that's some EA shit.

 

They should just hold the Presrige events with the maximum being ( whatever it was last time . I think it was 650k ? ) at at any point anyone in a number of alliances could pop the winning crystal. They did for there newer character sentius malice . That way everyone gets the same shot with the same chances across the board . Then offer the character later in a bundle for all the payers. SA would have there cake and eat it too. The pay to play guys would be pissing and whining , but hey , what’s fair is fair.

 

I despise the LB event format. I prefer prestige events, at least lower ranked alliances can get higher star bots for their teams.

One of the issues I have with the LB format is they've become far too frequent. We had the Slash event less than a month ago. Even for the people in the top 5, it can lead to burnout as it's just too soon.

 

I guess I'm the local idiot here, because I love LB events.
