    It looks perfect to me. If this turns out well I hope they do TM 1 Megatron as that was by far my favorite BM Megatron design.
    Also what's people's issue with the face? Looks dead on to me.

    Only thing off about the face to me is the eyes. But black lining for the eyelids and a pupil, I'd call it good.

    Those colours look amazing! I'm with you guys on not liking all of those faces, 2 of them look damn close though.

    The Trans-Art one has been mocked a bit but I think it's beating XJ in some places like the proportions of the head and limbs, the bot mode face looks closer to the CGI modelseen in the show and it uses the original toys dragon head which in my opinion is perfect because the show model and the original TM2 ultra's dragon face looked to be exactly the same. Also the simpler sculpting makes it more show accurate.

    Overall though, XJ looks like it's better quality and is more statuesque compared to the toy-ish looking, for the moment, Trans Art version. I've only owned 2 third party figures and neither are from these companies so I've no idea what to expect quality wise anyway, at the moment I'm still undecided on which ones for me but anyone who gets both and the PE one will be known hence forth as the "Brother of Dragons".

    No surrounding sections on the eyes.
    Face narrows in from the cheeks to the jaw, whereas the animation model has a 'broad'/'flatter' face.
    Lips - especially upper lips - are too pronounced, and the mouth is too wide, which is exacerbated by the narrowing face.
    Forehead crest is slightly off - it runs into the nose rather than stopping above it as part of the helmet.

    Plus the expressions chosen don't really reflect the character all that well, which is kind of important for a character as expressive as BW Megs. They're more 'angry bad guy' faces than 'smooth criminal' or 'scheming mastermind' faces.

    Wierd how they get so much wrong when the reference images are so readily available (not that the figure isn't otherwise impressive looking). There work is already pretty much done in that even the original is simple enough cg models and not 2D inconsistent images.

    To be fair, faces are pretty hard to get right - just look at FansToys work up until recently.
    And the lips thing is a known factor in drawing/life drawing - most people have to be taught that the upper lip is really more 'part of the face'. Faces are probably the #1 bit where you need an 'artist'/'the vibe' mindset more than a 'toy designer' one.

    For a 'first try' it's about what you'd expect, and they did put it out there as renders first so as to seek feedback, so I'm willing to give them a chance to improve here.
    If they don't, I'm sure someone else will step up with better faces anyway.

    I hope this guy scales well with PE Gorira. I really like the more organic stylings in contrast to the boss bot's mechanical look.

    The barrel chest coupled with is skinny thighs throws it off for me and makes him look just awkward enough to make me undecided. I dunno. Maybe it'll look better in video.

    Quick collage since I don’t no how to merge photos other than a collage :) 

    It’s really close, the things that are not accurate that I noticed are:

    The shape of the toes/claws section on the wings is different on the figure, the yellow dots are also not accurately placed.
    The tail is too long in robot mode, you shouldn’t be able to see it stretch down that far
    The thighs and waist seem off but I can’t put my finger on it.....
    The shapes in the wings are off compared to the animation model
    The dragon head has too much yellow
    And of course the faces are lacking accuracy and pupils :p

    This one, I'm not sure they're able to help, aside from making it collapse down on itself somehow. It's a very long tail in dragon mode, but mass shifts down in robot mode.
