This SS34 Megatron looks great, it is definitely one of my favourite movie designs.

I do not know why everybody is complaining. Maybe it is just the angle and pose, but this is lightyears ahead of the other crap that got leaked. Perhaps my standards are low for this design because it is just ROTF Megatron with rusty truck parts. It sucks we did not get a movie 1 Megatron instead (he could have come with Frenzy). I hope they do not screw with the scale of this and make him tower over the ROFT figure.

Hmmmm, yes and no. He IS an amazing transforming robot figure. He isn’t NOT an amazing Lockdown. Proportions and details are all wrong and the dog sucks. But he was a great start out the gate with UT, who only improved with challenger and now dragoon.

Back on topic: this megs looks pretty decent. I’m hoping he doesn’t tower over the other figures he’d be paired with too much though. Sentinel prime especially has to pair well with him. Also, WHERE THE FUCK IS MY SENTINEL PRIME, HASBRO???

Hey, you're in luck. There's some really nice comparison shots with most of the things you'd want it compared to.

I wish I had this picture back when people tried to argue that the Studio Series Leader looks worse than the DOTM Voyager.

It's not a perfect looking figure, at all, but it's much better looking than its predecessors IMO.

To be fair the voyager looks much slimmer and has less kibble... but that’s not what Megatron should look like.

He should be a thick meaty brute capable of swinging Optimus like a ragdoll, which SS nails at the cost of being a kibbly mess. Damn.

Is it perfect? No. Is it way too lanky? Yes. But after seeing this review I still think they could and should have done WAY better, and that doing an updated and improved version of the voyager would have been the way to go instead of...This.

Dayumn, okay i might have to get this one to replace my DOTM one. But do gotta admit that the arm cannon on the DOTM one has really grown on me.

    HMMMmmmm I dont like it.

This might sound odd but seeing all the simple pannels on the arms and legs and then seeing how the detailing is just so overly complex it\'s just jarring and it really shows how over kill the detail was for the bay era. IMO take the toy redesign the parts on the head, chestn legs and hands etc and you\'d have a solid toy. Not a DOTM Megatron but a solid taker truck.
