I don't follow? I was saying if they brought out a more "toy" Sunstreaker variant using bits from Cordon (shins, black windscreen), I would want to use a silver version of Sunstreakers face rather than Cordons face. Or the option of both to keep people happy, like the + version of Megatron.

Ah, you mean a version of sunstreaker cobbled together with some toon and some toy parts?

Not every figure, but a good portion. I dont spend too much time messing with my figures once I've messed with them for a bit and have them posed in my case. Plus I dont have time to transform them back and forth. I love seeing the figures in both modes next to eachother. It does become expensive, but I only have a handful of collectibles.

I have doubles of everyone except my dinos (TF wise; except Gabriel). Going forward I will order 2 V3 Primes, 2 Hounds and 2 Jazz if they make him.

It really depends on the figure(s) if I buy doubles.

I used to do that with MP's too. It got expensive, but more so a bit of a problem for storage issues.

I got 2 MP 36 simply because of its awesomeness, but I doubt I'll get 2 Primes. I don't transform my MP's as much as I did on my early 30's, but when I do now, is when I have the free time, and boy, do I enjoy it. Bourbon helps.

I guess is just the fact that they transform and they are meant to be transformed that made me change the direction of my collection.

I'm not knocking your way in any way, in fact, I love your display. Is classy, I love it. You must be a bourbon man too.

No offense taken. I feel each collector has their own methodology. Time is a premium these days and I hate reposing them or repositioning as my ocd kicks in and they have to face a certain way or turn a smidge. When they're right I leave it alone. Plus when I look at them they become alive in my mind and that is what excites me. A lot of collecting in general to me is the display factor. If I cant display it properly I won't purchase it.

I do appreciate your enthusiasm in my efforts.

Honestly I dont drink. In one year I might have 2 beers. I'm not against it, I'm not a big drinker, smoker, doper, etc. Although in my younger years (I'm 40) I was all of those and more =)

    Cheers!

Unless you don't care about the old toys and want him to look exactly like the cartoon.

I guess KO, are great in this regard. You can buy the original to display in bot mode. And you can have the KO for vehicle mode.

What's up with the one that came with yours? And where did you buy it?
