after taking apart the hips i have figured out what i think is the cause for the wobble. the assembly that allows the hips to slide forward and backwards slides in long pegs and the holes in the assembly can only be so small to still allow the hips to slide back and forth. maybe some way to add friction to the pegs so the hips dont slide as easily but enought to diminish the wobble? and the feet also have some play because of the small gaps in front and behind the ankle tilt bars. dnt know if it helps at all but just some information for those curious

Try bending the knee using the lower part of Swindle, the springs on the slider joint in the knee connection don't seem strong enough to hold the position without additional clamping. It's different for Brawl as the arms peg in either side of the knee connection making that clamp.

Very happy with the complete package. It makes me want to get Zeta’s Superion to go with him. Difficult to pose, and I hate Brawl’s treads, but he looks so good!

I've been messing with him for a while tonight and I have to say, he is fan-flipping-tastic. If Devy is a 10 stability wise, Bruticus is a 9.5 for sure. The ankle tilt and pelvis slide are perfect features to help offset the back pack weight...

He is so big that I had to lower his back guns for him to fit under the shelf above. The small helicopter rotor piece is actually taller but I was able to shoe-horn him in to fit....

Well done Zeta and I can't wait for Superion.....

So my Bruticus Head was not working and evry time I put batteries in his head I only heard a faint clicking sound. It was like when a car battery is too dead to start. So, I tried again today and no luck.

I took out the 4 screws and inspected the board. It appeared the speaker was slightly ajar. I placed it back together and put batteries back in and low and behold it worked. I think that perhaps the speaker was touching a wire and shorting out. There are quite a few wires in there.

If yours doesn’t work try this. It is a bit tricky to get it back together due to springs in antenna but it was well worth it.

With this type of plastic you should be able to super glue it back on. It should hold great.

I agree completely. What was stated above is the problem. Stronger springs would have solved the problem.

Indeed it does, also is it just me or for some reason, I feel hostility from some of the UT bruticus people?

Finally got to play around with Blitzkrieg and overall I like him, but I'd be lying if told you I got this set for anything other than the combined mode. The individuals are such a mixed bag. The four limb-bots have very real world accurate vehicle modes with kibble monster robot modes and all four throw cartoon accuracy right out the window. Blitz on the other hand has a more cartoon accurate and kibble free robot mode with a more toy accurate truck mode. It's almost like they shouldn't all got together. QC wise the only issue I have with Blitz is the poorly tolerance peg and hole for the artillery cannons in vehicle mode. I'll need to sand or the other to make it fit, wouldn't even come close to going in. I wish they would have made a way for the trailer section of his truck mode to articulate a little the way UT did on their Onslaught.

The combined mode is where this set shines, and even though I already had Constructor I was still taken aback by how massive this guy is. You can talk trash on the kibley robot modes and parts forming all you want, but when you get this guy fully assembly and posed all that goes away. I already had UT Ragnaros and there is no comparison. Ragnaros seemed too small, had limited arm articulation, and I was afraid to really try to pose his legs very much for fear of shredding the ratchets. I will give them high marks for their Swindle and Brawl, but they seem to have really tripped at the finish line with Onslaught, Vortex, and Blastoff.

As for stability of the combined, I didn't really have any problems. After reading a few of the responses on here I was fearful that his guy was going to be pain in the ass just to stand, not the case. The ab crunch and hip slider both work nicely to find that sweet spot, but to be honest even when I just threw him together initially he had no problems standing. The knee connection to Swindle is weak, there's no denying that. Conceptually it was a good idea, but it needs a much stronger spring. I also wish the hip slider was a little tighter, it's not a problem as is, but I think if there was a little more resistance in there it would just make everything feel better. This makes me very excited to finish their Aerialbot set.

Anyway, he looks incredible on the shelf.

    What hostility?

The only hostility I see comes from the fool who posted before me.

You should look up the definition of hostility.

I am aware of your posting behavior and the definition applies to you perfectly...

I own both sets, but I don't talk trash to anybody regardless of their choices or encourage violence or bullying against fellow collectors.

I am very critical against pantsformer, but I NEVER, NEVER "call names" to anybody for liking them. You are indeed the very first person I insulted here by calling you a "fool".

I've seen hostility from both sides. I think the UT side seems so critical because of the dislike of partsforming. Meanwhile Zeta side is like "Haha ours is big." It's a silly thing, they're toys.

Personally I'm more critical of UT's because I expected more from them. Their first two figures were extremely toon accurate and then I guess they gave up on that. I think their Bruticus looks bad unless you angle him right. They also had quite a few cases of figures breaking. I'm more forgiving of Zeta because I knew what I was getting from the start; big, chunky bots that partsformed for cheap. They aren't without fault though, that Swindle connection is extremely poorly done and could have been easily remedied if they had something clamp on the sides like Brawl does. Onslaught also could have been smaller due to the partsforming but that's personal preference. Worth mentioning that I haven't had the same "stability" issues in combined mode as others have.

    You mean Blast Off?

Looks like some accessories. Hard to tell. I don't think it's stock with the set, but I could be wrong.

Yes, Blast Off, my mistake, thanks!
Do you think its stuff that came with the set or some kind of add on? I have the set and they don't look familiar but I'm not sure.
