Yeah why the hell does everyone hate it? It's Cybertronian, and it seems to me that those lights would be HIGHLY functional for a sentient robot from outer space probably on a sometimes very dark planet. I think if anyone should complain about anything, it's that the truck looks TOO earth inspired. But for me, I really dig it. Now would I have designed it differently? Well yes, but not because this design is bad at all. I just wouldn't have thought up of this design, lol
Great, now I'm imagining a TF/Terminator crossover with a bunch of armored Shockwaves on Judgment Day. Why don't we have that IDW comic yet? I'm planning on getting Flywheels,Ultra Magnus (he combines with his armor, how could I not?),Shockwave (in all his Xabungle/Macross glory) and maybe Megatron and Blowpipe if I feel like it.
i love this line and' understand why the alt modes look like they do, didn't want to take away from the robot mode.
I just got invoiced for My siege figures I ordered at the collector store in the next town. So I should have them soon.
It's because the robot modes are so extremely G1 that the vehicle modes having Cybertronian bits on it is off putting for something that's almost perfect. I get that's the point of the line, but I don't like that, probably the same as others. It's like they got it halfway right. But it's still pretty minor and easy to ignore. I'd have still loved a Prime with an accurate vehicle mode in the same vein as the accurate robot mode.
mmm, I think for Optimus Prime CHUG-Voyager scale figure there is many more better options, in G1, WFC, FOC and other styles (like Striker Manus).
Micromasters087-16-4277Battle Master087-16-4265Deluxe087-16-9981Voyager087-16-8335Leader087-16-4273 We know that the DCPI for the Battle Mastrs is incorrect as it should be 087-16-3981 What about the others?
I've found Battle Masters and know those that have the Micro Masters. Both found on Target shelves. Problem is, the DCPIs are not activated in Target's system. I literally asked an employee to check the Battle Master DCPI, he then tells me "Nope. Sorry, we don't have them yet." Then I see the case of Battle Masters on his cart to be pushed to the floor. Ask him to open it and grab my three. They ring up fine. There's just a generic description (Transformer 5.99) at the moment until the system updates with a proper item description. So if I'd have to guess, most stores have the other size classes right now. There's no location on the sales floor, and there's no proper DCPI to find them if they are located in the back room. Hopefully there's a reset or revision soon so these can get tied to the floor.
That's what I figured. I'm glad I got the rest of my minibots from the earlier generations lines. Lol I would be pissed if they reissued gears after I payed over double what it used to cost.
That would make sense. When I search their individual numbers, I get results even if they are out of stock. When I search for the assortment DCPI I get no listings, just a generic “Transformers. $5.99” as you’ve said. It’s weird.
