If this is what Hightower looks like, he's defiantly going to be packed weirdly.

If they can make a Studio Series Constructicon OVerload, I plan to make him my Decepticon Leader. When I found out the Constructicons were going to have a 7th member, it almost reminded me of this cartoon when all the contestants were chosen, but one person did everything to get in and she managed to file so many lawsuits that she got in during the middle of the competition.

Please tell me Hopeful a more decent robot form concept for Hightower exists. That thing isn't very appealing.

Yeah that one artist did some terrible and mostly unused concepts for the constructicons. Hightower looks goofy as hell.

Makes you wonder if that will be the Hightower figure.

It could be changed but if it is it probably wolnt be drastically changed.

Off the top of my head I could think of some changes.

Albeit at the detriment of the individual figure itself. It's not generally good for a figure if it is unable to stand on its own with its individual merits and you need to purchase a bunch of other figures in order to "enjoy" it. Some combiner components can merge into a combiner, and yet are still great standalone figures you can have fun with even if you don't have the other combiner components.

It's not really a detriment if it's ditching a non-screen accurate mode for one that IS screen accurate, and also to be the most screen accurate version of the character to ever exist. I get that you liked that mode (I liked it too) but I'd much prefer it be able to do the thing that it does in the movie and look better doing it.

It's quite a detriment, as it means that the toy has lesser functionality on its own compared to a previous version, and is now more dependent on the gimmickry of other figures to work. What if someone only wants a few Constructicons and not the entire Devastator? A Rampage that is only half-poeable and lacked gimmicktry like the spring-loaded jackhammer or the centaur mode would be comparatively subpar as a standalone figure. It's not like it can't be done. All of the UW Technobots and the PotP Terrorcons were great figures that could all stand on their own individual merits quite well and you could have an enjoyable time with any of them without the thought of combining them even coming into the picture. UW Nosecone was an excellent example of this even, as he had a ton of play value on his own that was not seen in most (if not all) other CW-style combiner limbs. I would also dispute the screen accuracy argument as well, since Rampage bounced around for locomotion in the film, which the RotF figure could do with the "jackhammer mode". The SS figure doesn't even seem capable of this, and has a stunted brick tail, rather than the snake-like coiling one seen in the film. If the tail isn't even articulated to try and approximate the movement of the character seen in the film, and the tail itself is even stunted in length, where's the screen accuracy?

Thinking about when the rest of the Constructicons will be revealed. Especially Overload. Think about his legs, because there was art where he had only 2 legs and there was another with 4 crab legs. What do you think?

Well without a doubt Hightower will be revealed at New York Toy Fair and without ruling out the possibility of another voyager Constructicon in 2018 this is how I think the reveals will go.

    Nytf19 - Hightower and Scrapper ?

    Hascon - Overload

Then finally somewhere between Nycc19 and London mcm 19 in October Mixmaster And scavenger will be revealed.

As to the overload situation I honestly think he will probably stand on 2 legs and have 4 arms like the legends figure With a very concept art head I just dont see spider bot happening.

I agree. I'm starting to doubt SDCC for reveals now.
