Ironhide and Starscream look great. Extra bonus points for tetra jet mode.

What is it about Ironhide that makes it so hard to make a slant-fronted box vehicle into a slant-fronted boxy robot? Even the Masterpiece toy was kinda weird in places. These photos are not flattering to Ironhide at all, with an oversized-looking windscreen-chest and more hollows in the backs of the limbs and torso than I've seen in Siege so far. Still it's one of the better Ironhide toys I've seen at this size.

take away the greeble and give that starscream an earth mode, we could of finally retired the classics deluxe

but man starscream suffers dreadfully from all those pointless panel lines.

Have to see it with the other two to judge actually. And this mold for sure will be heavily used for repaints.

As a draftsman of 23 years, the last 5 or so working also with 3D CAD I would tell that each shape, panel line, and greeble takes time to do. The more you do, the more time you spend.
Plus these figures as of late seem to be more complicated than what we have been getting in recent times. Modeling and assembling models with more parts will take longer and cost more than models and assemblies with fewer parts.
I won't comment on budget or deadlines because we don't know the numbers or whether or not they have changed.

Oh my gosh, never expect Starscream looks almost like he is Masterpiece.
