I would assume so. Those parts are fairly light and it’s not really balancing on the post it’s more just keeping it level but the handle / back part of the thing is so heavy compared to the rest... I don’t think it would be an issue. I’ll check to make sure though.

Will also need to update my other recreations...

Does anyone know a matching paint that I could use to touch up my figure? Today I noticed a scratch that I have no idea where is coming from :(

Nice... I don't need one for Megatron (the whole mass-shifting thing!) but I'd love to be able to display MP Shockwave in space gun mode (and without the eyesore partsforming piece TT gave us). Any chance of you designing something similar to the Megs one, that slots into MP-29's handle, so that the bottoms of his legs are flush to the floor and he can stand pointing at a nice inclined angle?

Re-acquired this figure for Christmas (thanks, awesome wife!!), and I was pleasantly surprised to find that in the second run they fixed the issue with the pin on his black lower back piece sticking out on one side and gouging the paint on the upper left shoulder if you transform him.

Had an absolute bear of a time closing up one of the arms at the end, but at least there are no cracked hinges in his shoulder panels, which led me to dump him the first time.

My first copy was damaged from that pin and I noticed on my reissue copy that the pin was better but still sticking out too far for my taste so out of paranoia I dremelled the pin to be more flush just in case.

Yeah, it looked much better centered than the first one, but one end was still pretty flush with the hole. Out of an abundance of caution, I grabbed my automatic center punch tool, which had been laying out from doing the Ramjet shoulder fix, and pushed the pin two clicks. Not a mark on the shoulder after going gun back to robot. After having my first run copy , where that pin dug a little trench in the shoulder, I'm pretty happy with the new copy.

V2 definitely has tighter joints. He feels a ton stiffer.

I've not heard of this pin issue; any pics of it or the damage it causes? I've transformed mine once or twice and not noticed a problem but I'd like to know where to be careful just in case...

Also does the reissue have the floppy gun-barrel hinge on his back in bot mode?

The paint on his front-left shoulder tends to get a small bare spot worn in it due to pressing up against the pin at the back of his waist in gun mode.

Apparently the reissue made sure that pin was punched in more flush so that rub spot doesn't occur.

Ok thanks, just had a quick look and all the pins in the black waist parts look flush on mine so I guess I got lucky!

It's specifically the one for the piece in the middle, that opens up for the stand connection.

Can't see any damage, does anybody have a pic of the suspect oin? I also have a v1 and haven't noticed any issues but I rarely transform him.

    In the previous pic, dude.

It's just the small dark grey splotch under the left shoulder ridge.
