You should really consider Arashi. The tolerances are noticeably better and he's a great companion piece for Susanoo.

If you do proceed, be warned that you should put a touch of lubricant on the shoulder pieces before attempting to slide them back onto the chest. The tolerances between the peg and the hole are actually too tight.

    Y'know, I love it too.
It was mostly overlooked, and having some joints tight and some loose made it feel fiddly, but man, I love the thing. Poses like a champ, although it takes some doing. Looks really great. Not crazy about the transformation but overall love the figure.

He looks so amazing. If he would fit even tangentially into the theme of my collection, I would buy him.

Yeah, I was big on this before its release, then the problems with quality made me forget it. I am going to need it to go lower than $104 sale price at ShowZ though. Too much good stuff coming out right now...

Yep. Considering it's just a modified version of the ROTF Bludgeon with a large amount of QC errors, I dunno if I'd go over $80 for it despite how good it looks.

Other than the paint on the feet I dunno if QC issues were as common as some may have perceived it. There is some fiddliness to these guys, but once in position they hold like champs.

I do know that DNA was a friggin' champ about support. When I broke part of my Susanoo when installing the updated parts that came with Arashi, they shipped me a replacement (internationally) at no cost. Given how long it's been since release I dunno if they have the extra bits or are able to produce replacement parts for Susanoo at this point, but something to keep in mind the next time they produce a full figure that catches interest.

Inverted the colors and he makes a passable Overlord.

I like Bludgeon, but just don't like this bulky look, as I liked how his Pretender form was more lean in the Marvel Comics, and banzaitron is too bulky as well from his G2 Marvel appearance...

    but...

I just ordered Susanoo and Arashi from Show Z, because he's selling both combined at $189!

I still am torn on this one. I really do want it, it would fit in the collection just fine, but... I want it either to be cheaper, or to be BIGGER. LOL

    I sold him for £75.

Nice looking figure but didn't fit anywhere in my display.

I don't love this figure... but I definitely LIKE it! I held off for a while and finally went for it because I found it secondhand for $80 plus shipping. The legs kind of suck poseability-wise; the hips keep interfering with the treads under the hip skirts. But other than that? It's great. Sure it's kind of fiddly, but I knew that going in. Both modes look and feel good, the materials are quality (not topnotch by any means but I don't feel any squeamishness handling this thing), and most importantly... this thing just FEELS like Bludgeon!

If you're on the fence, I say if you like how it looks, it's probably worth getting at a sale price. It's not the best feeling figure in the history of the world but it makes sense why just by looking at it. It's not 'show accurate' but who cares when it looks like how Bludgeon (who wasn't IN the cartoon anyway) SHOULD have looked. I actually have him with my 'show' MP Con shelf... he works just fine!
