I'm curious to understand what you mean by 'flip over around its own axis'. You think there's a pin going horizontally (from door to door) through the roof, and the lightbar spins around with that pin?

 

I’d draw to if I had any skill. Just like bumblebee and Tracks’ horizontally pinned square to flip over the insignia but the pin is vertically up and down from the front to the rear of the car.

It does look like the light bar is a separate piece in the seams along the edges. And if I strain my eyes I can make out a nub that could be a pin under the silver part of the light at.

Great pics! I must admit I was so starved for G1 masterpieces that I wound up pre-ordering this off Amazon Japan...and that was months ago.

Except it was noticed the light bar is different in each mode, seeming to rule out that simple swivel.

 

Actually I think I was the one who did a side-by-side, but I was doing it wrong, since no lines actually match up between the different 'roofs'. I guess we'll find out soon enough anyway.

Cool, wanting him is really sparking interest in Prowl, aside from curiosity over the alleged glory of the "Hasui era". Now I just have to figure out who's the good cop.

Didn't x-transbots make an MP Skids? How was that? If it didn't suck it'd be an easy reuse.
