And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

    ------------

I don't view my opinion as a state of the union or anything that people should state as gospel but as a reviewer it's my job to be honest and what you guys don't see is everytime I post a picture me getting an inbox and/or comment section full of people asking for opinions on items even if I've barely touched them. For the sake of honesty and any anticipation it was better to put out there in advance that I'm not fond of this piece (as well as being able to clarify why further when asked) and it won't be getting a glowing review because fact is it's one that's gotten a lot of hype prior to release and in my opinion is very visually deceptive in terms of looking at a picture compared to what you get in hand.

I've read that I'm apparantly being extreme and that this is one of if not the best figures of the year; Personally, If this was the best 3PTF I got this year this would be the last year I collected them.

Hey guys, just a word of warning. Be very careful when transforming him to and from dragon mode with the assembly his dragon arms are on. The hinge that connects that to his back is EXTREMELY stressed on my copy and will most likely end up snapping off. Take the wings off before you transform him and put as little force on that joint as is possible. The hinge is thin enough as it is and enough transformations may end up snapping that off.

I checked those hinges on my copy and no stress marks on mine thankfully. I do have two small stress marks on the left lower leg, which I assumed came from possibly pushing the two halves together too tightly. This is thankfully not on a joint or a connection piece so it's merely an aesthetic problem.

I got mine yesterday with no significant issues. The tail attachment procedure was a bit more nerve-wracking than I prefer. He came together well once resolved. Beyond that the figure lives to the hype visually, but is a bit unforgiving in hand due to some very strong joints and sharp points and edges. No blood has been drawn. Yet...

    Regarding>>

    >>Balance issues: A-stance with toes pointed slightly outward seems to work best for me. Also I have the wings swept forward-ish, and folded down when not in hand. I do not think adding weight to his lower legs will help. But(!) he really could have used some functional heel-spurs.

    >>Fit and Finish: Other than one little spot of touch up on the paint on his right dragon mode arm, mine is flawless. Said touch up required a small stroke of a red sharpie to correct.

    >>Being Terrible: He is a bit rough on one's hands due to all the spikes and surfaces, but to say he is "terrible" strikes me as a bit hyperbolic. Mega Doragon is very much like Beast Gorira. Impressive but not very toy-etic in hand. I handle both of them like the transformable MG and PG Gundam model kits I own. Both handle stresses well, but they are fiddly with significant higher than necessary part counts for what is needed to get done.

Ok so, I've ordered this guy back in december 2017 from TF-Direct, but still no shipping notice. So, I've contacted them, and this is their answer:
"We have contacted the supplier and they said it is delayed to early Nov. Hope you can understand."

    Wtf?

Mine's in my PoL at BBTS already. Maybe they only got a partial shipment and are awaiting more.

And by all accounts, it's still "mid-October". It's not like, if the 15th passes by without any news, they're sudden "liar-liar-pants-on-fire"s.

Got mine from TCP. Currently sitting on my bedroom floor, waiting to be freed of his cardboard bonds.
